I'll go ahead and include some pictures of the Far Out girls too, even though they have their own thread. First, this is the pheno I absolutely love over the other 2, just in terms of growth characteristics. She recently got too tall, so I had to supercrop her, but she is the shortest of my phenos:
This is a pheno that has been very branchy from the start, and was very tall, and VERY vigorous. She hit the glass of the reflector on her third day of flowering. Yes, that is not a typo. On day 3 of 12/12 she nearly quadrupled her height, and hit the glass. So I had to top her, sadly. I took cuttings, and I will flower a clone of her in the future, immediately upon rooting. Here is what she looks like now:
Then the last pheno I have was also a tall one, hitting the glass at five days of flowering. So this one got topped too. She, though, is not so branchy, so she probably would have grown a single, TALL cola bud, which isn't conducive to my garden, so I didn't take any cuttings of her. I might have to reveg her, though, because she is the most crystally of the bunch:
I've got a couple of these tents, as well as a 12x12 framed room. Tents are great but you get bored fast, then you get to moving furniture around lol. I find them great for breeding. Nice to see the various potential coming out of these tents. clean show bud!
Your title states mh/hps. they look like wk 4, have they had MH up untill now or is the MH just in there for picture taking?
Oh yeah, I totally haven't mentioned that before now... thanks for bringing it up! I decided earlier on to use MH all the way through this round, to keep the heights down, and since I was growing some plants with sativa expression. So this has been MH since the beginning and I'll keep it through to harvest. In the future I'll be using HPS for mono-crops of indica dom strains, and MH for mono-crops of the sativas.
And for me, small grows are all that's necessary. It's just for me and my wife. I admit having an entire room would be nice, but I would end up just using it for one or 2 big grows per year, whereas with a tent I can always grow, year round. I get bored when i'm not growing.
Then we have the tall Sadhu. She is doing rather well, despite the fact that she is still trying to recover from the supercropping of her stem. As you can see, all the leaves above the manipulated stem are folded like a canoe. At first glance it might seem like this pheno has slender sativa leaves, but look at how fat the leaves are toward the bottom of the plant. But she's hanging in there, and she'll recover.
Today is day 42 of flowering, so tomorrow begins the 7th week. I figured at the end of the 6th week would be a good time for a photo shoot. I'll start with the PNR:
