I'm running a sealed room and my humidifier is dusting everything in the room. my waters 100 ppm should the ppm be lower? anyone else have this problem with a humidifier?
i don't think i understand.
it's dusting your room with what exactly?
anyway it's either something in your room or something in the unit.
find out which it is, clean it out, carry on.
sorry to sound so pedantic but what else could it be?
Yeah, definitely use RO water as close to 0ppm as possible - that calcium will leave a film on everything, especially the glass covering your bulb (or your cooltube, etc). Not good.
I'm going to revive this thread in hopes to finding a solution to my same issue. I'm currently running RO water and still have this white film on everything. Anyone else?
