Hey Guys,

Ziggidy here, first time post and just started up a little operation, been reading all the forums and damn have they been helpful. Just want to say thanks for all the good information and people willing to share it.

Room Dimensions: 8" x 3"

Light: Sun System 1000w HPS / Air Vented

Ballast: 1000w Analog G.L.L

Ventilation: Exhaust 4" Vortex Inline
Intake 6" Desk Fan
6" Ducting
6"-4" Duct Converters

Just placed my first 5 Girl Scout Cookies under the HPS and man have they been loving it. Temperature has been a bit of an issue, it's been sitting right around 78-79 degrees. If thats to high let me know.. Humidity has been sitting right at 55%. I have two Shark Shock OG Clones (White Widow/Skunk One) I'm allowing to veg a little longer under 2 43w CFL Bulbs. In about a week I will throw them in with the G.S.C. under the HPS.

All my G.S.C girls are in 2 gallon pots wasn't trying to have plants to big for the space I was growing in. ( Kind of a crash course) Was thinking about putting my two S.S. OG in 5 gallon pots any thoughts on that?

Obviously I am just starting so any advice or criticism of my grow, I am all ears. Don't learn until mistakes are made, just gotta try to limit those mistakes! Grown on!

I will post pictures of my entire set up either tonight or tomorrow morning my plants are on there 6 hr dark cycle now.

Thanks really appreciate it, should have more pictures up in a little of the setup. suggestions encouraged working on a semi tight budget though.

Question: Does it make more sense as a beginner to just take a clone or two off each female plant or select one mother plant and just continuously clone her? trying to decide. Leaning towards just flowering them all..

Gotta agree with tLeaf. Nice set up for a first grow, definitely dove right in lol. I am building my new set up on wednesday, going to be a 5x5 room for 4 plants under a 1000w. 3 Trans Siberians and a Strawberry Blue. I will be starting that diary probably this Saturday or so Oh and yeah they are going to be on bubbler hydro systems (except the strawberry blue).

Keep this updated every few days with growth and such!

I am excited to see the progress on your 3 Trans Siberians. Hope that Strawberry Blue of yours gets nice and big What size pot you hope to get her in??

I actually have 3 DIY Hyrdo's G.S.C under my desk just experimenting a bit. But damn I love it.

Looking good Ziggidy. Since you asked, the only thing I'd be doing differently is more soil - maybe even bigger pots. I'd ditch all those nutes and do some sort of KISS thing too, but that's just me. Mixing up all that stuff all the time would drive me nuts. Of course, all this from one nOOb to another

I'm really hoping to run across GSC one of these days...never seen it around here. Can't wait to see 'em all grow up!

Rob, thanks for the quick response. So if i bumped them up say to 5 gallon pots? height wise in my closet my light can probably get no higher the 5 1/2 to 6 ft. so that is a possible issue.

don't know what you mean by KISS? you mean like using one specific product?? I hope to do that soon most these nutrients I got for free during 4/20 sales and product reviews in humboldt.

kiss ,,,search it in the search tab ,basically using a more simple nute line up ,but youll figure out whats needed for your babes and whats not.about the clones you should take 2 corresponding clone from each plant and flower the mom or the clone figure out which one is the best and toss the other ones(the reason I say two clones is to have a back up just in case

For comparison, I'm using about 3 gallons of 5 gallon pots. Of course strain is what really matters, but I'm getting near the end of my grow & still have a couple feet vertical left over all 4 strains. That's why I'm using more soil next time...and vegging longer than 30 days.

By KISS, I mean Keep It Simple Stoner...a search will turn up a few threads. I'm using the V+B variety, which can be just the one nutrient for the whole grow. I'm using their +SIZE later in flower & +Life all the way through. So it's not totally KISS, but closer than many of the regimens out there. It really is easy. A comparable product is Maxibloom. I believe Floranova is the liquid equivalent. Most supplement those to a small degree and still call it KISS.

I like your style on your clone/mom idea, cause it being my first grow and all I wanted to bud out all my plants so now I can and still get some clones, thanks.

Good to know, so when I repot my to S.S. OG's I'll use 5 gallon pots and fill it with about 4. I'd have to check on the G.S.C. seeds but i'm thinking somewhere are 10-15..

One fertilizer i've been living by is the VermaPlex Speciality Fertilizer.

Now that i got my measurements down hah, you have any advice or anything?? just trying to get a good start and hopefully build from there once the funding and space comes available.

To All,

I'll have pictures of my grow space up today, hoping to fit 10 mature plants in during flowering.. let me know if thats do able or if I am crazy.

Got them in with my S.S. OG getting them nice and big fore the 1000w HPS... Hardest thing about growing is waiting for the plants to be of size!

Friggin French Toast Zig!! My first setup was shitoozi compared to your's nice work! Lucky Plants!!! Wicked strain selection too eh frig sake!!

Kiss My Ass method is how I put it... keep it simple stupid hybrid if ya will.. my outdoor i leave the fuck alone all summer and they continually get better..

you could mix your own dirt too. peat, perlite, terds of choice and then run a complete nute. I run one bottle. veg sauce (EarthJuice SugarPeak veg) n that's all hydrofarm hoses me on.. I topdress guano week 3-4 flower n flush start week 5-6.. easy on the wallet, no poisons, tastes like good n stuff, mo money mo time mo pizza!!!!!

great start you'll find ya get tired of babying the fuckers and they wanna be left alone anywho win win!! keep up great work!!
