foliar feeding can be done all of veg, as far as foliar feeding in flower I wouldn't advise doing so after the 1st week of flower just due to humidity and mold issues.
*Some strains are different and might be able to handle the moisture late into flower but I wouldn't risk it...
i only spray clones, regular plants stay dry, because i don't like to spray plants under hps light, and i don't like to interrupt their dark schedule...
You should not mist plants in veg with water (only clones) And absolutely not in flowering lol , that's just asking for trouble . This serves no purpose other than raising RH(if you want to do that there's better ways) It will however provide pathogens an ideal environment to establish into disease or fungus. Only spray foliar feeds ect if you really want to, a few hours before lights on. I myself have never found a need for the mister other than clones/pesticides..
Unless the plant is covered in so much shite as to block light from the leaves , there is nothing to be gained , and you risk an increased chance of mould for nothing.
Unless your airflow and fans can reliably dry them properly within a short timeframe i would not tempt fate.
I mist my clones 2x/day. The only other time Ive misted them was to drown out the borg. Spray top n bottom of leaves, wipe off gently. Repeat until theyre gone. Dont know how this works w/ a full-blown infestation. cheers
I have never misted my plants with either water or nutes and have been doing great for years. I really dont think it is needed unless a foliar spray is used for food, and only if needed. another reason I can see is medcine to kill bugs, either than that I think it does more harm than good. Just my 2 cents, but to each his/her own.
