How Much Longer for These A-Ak-47?

I think they should be done in about 10 days ...do these look like they will finish then?

I know they were grown in less than ideal conditions...a 20 gallon aquarium tank with 5 or 6 autos....what ya think?

Hard to tell by just looking. I never go on age, always check the tricomes to know when to chop them... but i wild guess would be about 3 weeks or longer depending on how they look and what kind of smoke your after...

Never chop to early, that extra week usually is magic for the buds...

Yeah, what seedling said!. How long have they been flowering so far? they look like they have a ways to go ,and def. check trichomes. AK-47 is awesome, but if pulled early you're gonna miss out on potency and yield and taste.

They are 7 weeks since the popped the earth. So, doing math, I was thinking I would let them go another 10 days...for 8.5 weeks...they are growing at an amazing speed though...

My eyes are bad and I have time seeing is with a loup or little scope.

Hey Dykster, I grew out AK autos, on 2 consecutive runs around 4 yrs. ago. I made the mistake most noobs make, and I chopped the AKs at day 49 of flower. The herb was not even close to potent. The next round I grew it out, and let it flower a full 9 weeks. I never count days of flower, until I see the little baby budsites! So let that AK keep going, Dykster! They always have forever and a year at that stage, just keep them healthy and don't over or under do the TDS/PH....not a lot can go wrong outside of that at this point. These have a lot to fill in, I'd be pissed if they stopped growing and only ripened at that shape.

I would be also...but they were grown in too crowded situation, so that's as tall as it gets for them under these conditions. They stopped getting taller a couple of weeks ago and the buds started to fatten. I am pretty sure they are 7 weeks old. I just don't want to chop early, and want the buds "sorta" fat but, I don't want a high that puts me to sleep. Relaxed and chill is good, but I still want to be able to have some function.

What's the high like with this strain?

If I were you I would invest in a pocket microscope from radio-shack or similar store. Harvest by the color of the trichomes depending on what high you seek. I prefer about 10-20% amber and 80% cloudy trichs for a more mellow high, not so racy or anxious, but still gets your mind going.

I just wanted to ask what your feeding them and if your going to flush for a period of time before harvest? They do look like they have a while to go. With all the change in weight and quality at the end of bloom it would be a shame to chop early.
