How much for outdoor plot?

Definately is a good idea to make the powerline plots as small as possible and well blended because whether its a traffic or powerline heli, a good sized plot will be easy to see. 8x5 may work, thats still pretty small, but definately just put in 4-8 plants not in a pattern. It may be a better idea to have a few small plots along the woods line. Remember, once a plot's security is compromised the whole area is compromised.

With your soil mix, I would try to amend the soil that is there and try and create a little bit of a raised bed. You should take a look at look at Plant-Tone by Espoma. Using all those amendments is likely overkill. Blood and bonemeal will also attract animals, but you should let the fertilized hole sit for at least a month or so anyway. Definately a good idea to add some compost.

I think that if you put up to (but no more for sure) 4 plants in the plot, you mat be ok. 4 plants put in the ground in early spring will overgrow that plot anyways, so you wouldnt want more than that. Dont put them in a row, or one on each corner, perfectly. I would mix them a bit, and tie them down, in different directions. A chopper will see a plot that big for sure, if you do not do anything to blend it in. You have to do something, to camo the plants, and try to make it look like they belong there, because no matter what you can see from the ground, it is different from the air. When a chopper flys over a plot, the plants are a different color, because of the fertile soil, they are big, and anyone that "is in the know", will surely spot them. I know that when i have stumbled upon peoples plants in the woods, alot of the time they are hid very well, but because I know what I am looking at, I can spot them from a long ways off. And this is from the ground, from above the different color, the size of the plants compared to the rest around them are totally noticable, and on top of it, cannabis has a very distinct shape from the air. You can beat this somewhat by training/tieing the plants, but it is still noticable. Again, I know you want to use the plot, and I would say to try up to 4, but 2 would probably be better. Many small patches would work better. Just because you dug a hole, although it may seem like it was alot of work, is no reason that you have to use it. I have abandoned many plots, even after putting a hundred bucks worth of soil/food/ferts in it. Better to not use the plot, than to lose all the plants later (or worse get popped harvesting them). It is all just advice, do what you will, but think about it deepley first.

Thanks for all your advice odin_ and pipeline. I will put some serious thought before I invest a lot into this plot.
