How much and how often can I nute?

I've discovered that my plants are lacking Nitrogen. Is it safe to give them nutes at half strength everytime I water?. Or should I only give them quater strength everytime I water?.

I want to give them the nutes they need, obviously I can't give it to them in one big hit or I'll end up with nute burn.

I like to start my nutes off at 1/4 strength and slowly work my way up. I personally feed every watering at low doses 'cause it seems to be a little more controllable. Just keep uping the dose until their a nice green color or you notice slight tip burning. And the biggest rule of all... less is better. If they look good at the dose you're giving them, then keep the same dose. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!

Also, if you're using chemical ferts (I use PBP) then remember to flush.

And welcome to ICMAG

You can water and feed many different ways. You can feed every watering using 1/3rd strenth ferts or full strenth every third watering. When using full strenth you should fert then water(just water) and then water again. fert water water fert water water and so on.. I use one tsp. of pure blend every third watering..if going with every watering I'd use 1/3rd tsp per gallon..Pease...

I just wanted to add...1/3+1/3+1/3=1 or 1+0+0=1 either way after 3 waterings your plant will get the same dose 1tsp. Do you want them to eat snacks every day or have a meal every third watering? Just keep an eye out for burnt tips. If they burn alittle back off the ferts a little...Peace

I thought 1 tsp was a 1/4 ratio, since it says 30ml for full stregnth

pure blend recommends 1tsp per gallon(full strenth). 1/3 tsp would be 1/3rd the strenth of 1tsp. After the seedling is two weeks old I would use 1/4 to 1/3 of what the bottle recommends. For the first feeding. See how the plant responds. Then bump it up from there...peace

1 tsp = 5ml
PBP full strength is 30ml
lets not get people confused on what the bottle says...yes for seedlings it says 7ml
