How many runs did it take until you realized that less means more

I think that in the beginning everyone thinks that more plants, more nutes and more light means more bud.

But I am sure you've heard here and there that less means more when it comes to growing.

It took me 5 ok runs to realize what it ment.
First:
You will never get your plant to produce to its full potential if you cram every inch of you grow space. I still tend to slam 8 or 9 unde a light but the best result I saw was with 6

Second:
This was my first time where I added half of every nute I used.
All run, no burn plants, no deffitiencies, bigger buds.

Light. I am still figuring this one out but the two above is true.

So. When did you learn that less is more?

When I did my first flush and saw how much nutes were left in the media.
I learned
Lights - 50-60 watts per sq ft if your on the higher side co2 is a must
Nutes keep it on the lower side water alone is fine sometimes
Keep up on cleaning and removing dead plant matter.
Mist during veg and up to 2nd wk of flowering
Use a good exhaust fan on your lights and good can filter to reduce smell.
DON'T take about your grow no one
Yes just like fight club first rule of growing is ......

I am sure there were more lesson's in there but it was a long time ago

there are to many variables with how much nutes to use, strain type what light your using grow space, veg time, clone, seeds. every ones environment is different what may work for you many not work as good for me.

more plants more light more ventilation, dialed in nutes then see how that goes

Good tips, sweetleaf.
Just like in anything in this world. You only become pro when you nail those unspoken and sometimes odd things. But when you do, it's a different ball game altogether.
Anyone else on the tips?
Not the obvious ones. Like the ones above. This is what real gold is.
Maybe a music in your grow room.
Or growing two different strains side by side and how they start to look like one another towards the end. :)
Thank you
