How many CFM's are u pushing?

Damn, way overkill! I wonder if you're hindering the 1400 fan by having all those other fans in the way... Probably not? Very clean. How is that mitsu working out? Those splitters are the shizzle.

Hey In Vino, thanks.
Maybe the small ones are hindering a bit with the flow of 1400 but I think for pressure is better this way. [these fans are also sold in pairs-for pararel or serial connection. Double the flow or pressure] After the air leaves the cooltubes it flows trough another two fans in series ....even more pressure gain... than it has to travel up trough the chimney... besides, there is already 950cfm fan pushing air in the chimney from another room.

Mitsu? I dont understand.... If you ment AC, it's panasonic, 18k btu. :headbange

blackone: Sure, no problem.

peace

i got a 4inch fantech i think it is not sure of the cfm but its pulling through 4 600 hoods, they seem to stay pretty cool and haven't had any problems yet. i just went and shot the hoods with a laser tempgauge, it took me an hour to find it, and they were ranging 89 to 109, the 109 being an inferior hood and the last before the fan. are those temps ok? i run 6inch all the way to the last cheapass hood, then switch to 4inch. should i aim for lower hood temps?

i'm not sure what your light schedule is, but you can control temps better by having lights on at night, off in the daytime. it should shave a couple of degrees off your temps.
