Hey bros,

I wonder how much time should I give this lady. I am currently feeding her Earth Juice Bloom. I am planning on flushing around a week from now. What do you guys think?

man lookin at those plants they look like you have 2-3 weeks longer to go yet but if you have a glass to see the trichs that will tell the whole story... cloudy to a few ambers is when to go in my taste but if you want to be glued to the couch then let em get more amber say bout 40-50 % amber then pull 'em :joint:

A week afterwards....

A week afterwards....

Hey bros:

Here the same plant a week after. I have been feeding it Earth Juice Bloom. Just today i flushed it. What do you say say? How much longer???

It would put on alot more weight if you wait, but i guess technically it would be smokable and get you somewhat high if you harvested right now.

Just like i could technically harvest this right now and get high but its nothing compared to what it will be in 4+ more weeks.

If your going to waste the months cloning then vegging then flowering, 2-3 more weeks shouldnt kill ya. ( I would wait 3 more min if its realy nevilles) The extra weight and potency will be worth it.

OK....two more weeks then. And by the way, it IS a Haze...Neville's Haze that is!

Thanks for the tips. I will be patient. So I should still feed it_ For how long?

Mucho Gusto Aldous!!

I know it's difficult to wait, especially with a strain like this Neville's Haze which can
take up to 14 weeks until some amber trichomes start to show.....if picked a bit
earlier, the quality of the stone will be a bit more clear-headed and a bit less-intense
than if you wait until you see some amber-headed trichomes. However, it is worth
the wait so if at all possible try to identify some of those amber trichs!!!

:ying: yer pal gp :ying:

^^^ Two weeks seems excessive to me, but i guess it would depend how chemmy your nutes are. I use pbp and im happy with a 5 day flush. I dont just feed it water for 5 days, i actually flush it by dumping 20+ gallons through the soil.

Lets get some more opinions on length of flushing.

Thx for the replies. I have not used any chemical fertilizers for flowering, but i used some while i was vegging. For blooming i am using a 100% organic fertilizer by Earth Juice. I wonder if i should keep on feeding it for a couple of days more, and then flush it when i have 5 days left. I will wait until you guys tell me to cut, because i have be be honest!!!! I have been having trouble with the harvesting time ever since i started growing.

Best regards,

Yea, I agree--it's not ready to flush yet. I would go to radioshack or ebay one of those pocket microscopes and flush when trichs start to go from clear to cloudy...

Thx bros:

Everyone has a flaw, and although i grow beautiful plants i have to confess i have always, in nearly 8 years i have been growing , chopped them WAYYYYYY early.

Couple of questions:

- Is it or is it not true that putting your plants in absolute darkness for two or three days prior to harvest makes the plant produce more crystals. I have heard this a lot of times, but i also remeber to have read this is only good for Indicas. True or not?

- Is it or is it not true that you have to harvest the plant when all the fan leaves, or the majority, have turned yellow?

Along the way people have told me and repetead a gazillion times about the amber trychs. I guess i will be looking for a new microscope, one of those that you can connect via USB to the computer. I wonder if the have those compatible for Apple.

Best regards,

Some peeps have had good experience with letting the plants sit in darkness the last 48 hours. Seems to frost em up a little bit more. though some say they dont notice a difference at all. Realy, its not that important. iF its good its good. No amount of dark is gonna make it significantly better.

The yellowing of the leaves is signifcant in that it makes your smoke taste, smell and burn better. You just gotta time it so that you get them to start yellowing towards harvest time. Say in the last 2 weeks or so. If i had a plant that took 10 weeks to finish and at 7 weeks it was realy yellow its not because its done. Its because its hungry.

Also id say that plants has at LEAST 3 weeks to go.

Thx! Now i am getting it. Clear as the clear skies. I will give her the 3 weeks.

I am pretty sure it is a Neville´s Haze. The source has my undivided trust. I did a lot to this plant. Prunned it, topped it, overfed it, just to see what would happen to it, and clear out some concepts. All and all the damage control has given great results. It smells beautiful and i am pretty sure it will finish even better.

^^ If he (your friend) got it from a medical club he may have been (likely) lied to about what it was and didnt know any better himself. I doubt he would be purposely decieving you but he could still be wrong if he was lied to.

Since your so eager to pick it you would be better off with something that took 8-9 weeks instead of 12-14 weeks anyways.

The plant looks great though and im shure it will be worth the wait no matter what it is.

Hehe,

Guys, this dude that provided me with this seeds also gave me Matanuska Thunder, Chronic, Ak 47, etc, etc...he is no medical smoker.... i traded all this seeds for Colombian Landraces.

Here´s other individuals.

They will all take more than 100 days flowering.

Best regards,

Aldous
