How Do You Get Rid Of "Things"?

True,... but there's nothing saying I'm growing anything illegal by the mere presence of nute containers. My peppers and tomatoes have seen an improvement with the addition of nutes.

I'd certainly be a bit more cautious with that if I were in a NonMed state, or if I weren't legal to begin with, so point well taken ;)

Fire or compost. I don't take the risk of leaving my grow property with waste. If you get pulled over a block down the road with 2 trash bags full of mary jane leaves and stalks, you are royally screwed. If you can, burn your trash, let it dry for a day or two, and throw it on a raging fire.

Yeah, I was thinking non-med states :D

And true, there's nothing illegal about nutes, but it contributes to "totality of circumstances". So, while a 12/12 high electric bill isn't illegal, a high water bill isn't illegal, and nutes aren't illegal, taken all together, it'll probably get you a warrant for a FLIR image. Once they get that, they throw the heat sig with all the other stuff, and then a judge will issue a search warrant on the house.

But yeah, non-med, who gives a hoot? :D

I burn conspicuous cardboard like boxes ballasts or hoods come in. Any plastic nutrient containers, I pull the labels off (very easy with Foxfarm bottles, impossible with H&G) and take them to the recycle place and dump them in the huge pit myself. Any plant material gets composted in my worm bed. I recycle all my bulbs through my hydro shop. I've always been very aware that your trash can get you caught.

My house rabbit is treated to stems and leaves come harvest time.

Old boxed and whatnot I dump in the bins at the local mall. Sooo many people pass through there every day. Just use a normal shopping bag from one of the local shops and they'll never be able to trace you even if they do find/investigate something.

yeah in an emergency it's great to have a garbage disposal and a toilet. Like if they were knocking you could take the plants (assuming you have like 4) and just feed them into the garbage disposal. Then throw some house plants under the lights.
Watch out throwing trash out at malls - the security guys patrolling them are pretty much there just to make sure people aren't using the dumpsters. Catch you doing that and then find out it's males or something...
Could use biodegradable bags, fill it with organic shit like your stems and fan leaves and roots and shit, and drive on the highway at night and wait until no cars are around and whip it out the window.

in the spring, summer, early fall-mixed in with the lawn and run a mower over it.

winter: bag it and throw it away, or throw it in my pellet stove and burn it.

Some things to consider:

If you live in a residential area that is highly populated, burning your stuff may give you away.

Dumping in dumpsters: Many places these days have cameras everywhere, including ones watching over their dumpsters.

Also, those with septic tanks probably don't want to flush their garbage or use a garbage disposal.

Food processor, a lot of patience, and a compose pile. Cold kief the rest, rinse and repeat. Make sure ya turn the pile as soon as you add.

Two bins.

Everything "green" goes into one and goes into the compost heap. Also start a raised bed garden and use the compost heap. Why let all those expensive nutrients go to waste?

Everything "grey" goes into 3 mil contractor bags and goes to the dump. I played the game and would go around doing midnight dumping, but now I just take it all to to the city dump.

Much easier and their isn't anything "incriminating."

Chickens will eat -
* Root balls - they LOVE root balls - it's like Candy for them.
* Male plants.
* Yellow leaves (chopped up) from female plants, put them in their feed bucket.

Stems --- go in the compost pile.

As for "other stuff" - a _small_ bag, dropped in the trash outside Walmart or wherever you're going.

Anything skunky smelling should not be carried in the car.

I used to bag it up small and visit the local parks and throw it in the garbage bins there... always going to new spots, never continuously at the same spot. Apartments r good but around here they r camerad up.... parks r safe usually... bins in the middle of nowhere no reason to have surveillance.

One of these days the police will be watching that park because of some crime committed by a crackhead earlier.
While eating some donuts and watching. You'll pull over with your big fancy cadillac with the two hookers and take
out your plastic bag and dump it. They'll think your dumping off a handgun and pull you over. Once they find the
soil, etc. They'll run you plates in, kick your door down and find your grow op. All while your still in the park, back
seat of the police cruiser or on the way downtown to the police station while waiting to call your lawyer.

Your better off to drive North and find a farmer's field around Barrie and toss everything over the fence and hope the OPP don't catch you.

I'm just messing with you fellow Ontarian.

I am legal as can be and my trash pick up is included in my power bill.
That aside, there is not much that I through away that is grow related.
Most of what I use gets recycled for veggies.
The few times I do have stuff to toss that I do not wish to see disturbed, I just wait an extra day or so before I change the litter boxes and make sure it goes on the top.

if it is burnable it goes in the fireplace, or gets chopped up & mixed into the soil in the tomato beds. anything odd gets put into a convenience stores garbage can while i pump gas. they are too cheap around here to put cameras up outside...
