How do you educate your children about your cannibis habits???

not med so Definetly not till teens. With the school system encouraging ratting its not worth it. You do know the cops show up for dare classes, act all nicey guy, put up a pic of pot plants, then ask "any of you kids ever seen this?". kids raise their hands, cops take names.

Kids are quicker than you give em credit for though. my friends kid explained what me and his dad were doing on the porch by telling another 4 year old "daddy's getting happy"

Let us not forget, in non medical states you risk losing your children if you grow and get busted. Don't underestimate the power of persuasion things like the DARE program have. These antidrug campaigns are built to work on kids. Tell them enough times over and over how bad things are, and they'll listen. It's hard to explain propaganda to a child, and that's why they're susceptible.

I'm thinking of that story a couple years ago, a kid ratted his parents out to his teacher after an anti-drug lesson, over pot. I understand wanting to tell your children, but you put not only yourself at risk, but your family as a whole. If you think you can explain to the child the intricacies of the world, that not all laws are just but some are, that sometimes people in power who they should listen to say the wrong thing; if you can explain all this grey area shit that makes the world complicated, then tell them. But I think in doing so you'll be taking part of their childhood away. No child should have to worry about not mentioning dad's special plants because the police will take him away. Leave them out of it as long as it's illegal.

The anti-drug campaigns, like DARE, need to be addressed directly by parents. I was a victim of this and succumbed to the fear. I really and truly wish I had taken that bull(shit) by the horns and offered my kids an alternative to the fear-mongering. I just didn't really appreciate what stuff like the DARE program engenders.

So, first, have the discussions. Lots of them. Discuss what they're taught in DARE (IMO, discuss everything they're taught in school, I ran across many teachers and curricula that were straight up WRONG, including scientific principles and concepts) and counter that with your own ideology. Ask them the important questions, but most importantly, show them how to think for *themselves*.

i think you gotta watch out when they are too young. They may wanna keep the "family secret" too hard....Like my daughter from 4 said to the children of the neighbours : "you arent allowed to go into that room, cuz there are babyplants from daddy" , their mom heared what she said though. Luckily it were just 6-7 clones rooting.
