How do you define "FIRE" ??

I'm having a tough time with this term "FIRE". It seems as subjective as "ART".
One strain to a casual smoker could easily be "fire", while the same thing is a "mid" to the heavy smoker.
So it seems anything less than 30% THC is a "mid" now to heavy smokers, and isn't worth the bag that carries it. Are they right? Why use your time and grow space for anything less than the highest quality?
Before long, 30% is gonna be a mid and 40% will be "FIRE"... and so on and so on till somehow we are growing nothing but THC glands. Even then... heavy pot heads be like... "this is mids"...

For me personally , it ideally has to have an appealing scent/taste and an inspirational high, if I want raw 'fire' power to really knock my block off,...i will do the dry sieve shuffle ..that turns almost any strain into 'fire'

I don't know any serious growers that use that term. Mostly it's people who go to dispos or have imported Cali crap saying "fire". To the point if someone tells me their herb is fire, I kindly pass.

What should be called fire is when a very experienced growers says hey man, in a low serious tone, you gotta try this..lol

Kids these days..

I remember getting a bag in high school from a friend who was like "Bro, the strain is called 'Fire'." The term has always made me laugh since.

Fire Crotch is a much better malapropism.

Now a days it's all about having something no one else has. People psych themselves up. The placebo effect is real. 90% of smokers have already decided if it's "fire" or not based on a name

Yeah, was the early 2000's Nor-Cal so fits the timeline. This was no OG though, they called it that cause it had long very red hairs throughout. She was common in the area, commercial weed called whatever sold best at the time. Had her under many a name, Salmon Creek, Jack Herer, God Bud, Trainwreck, etc...

The game doesn't change that much...
