How do i get rock hard buds outdoors?

my golden tigers have very good bud density especially after the extensive cure i give them. the malawi is supposedly the key to the resistance to bud rot and bud density in the gt strain. i've found that buds that form after the summer heat has dissipated along with the summer humidity are the least likely to be killed by various molds. i've gone to strains that harvest after summer heat/humidity issues to avoid bud rot issues.

Lot of variables on this topic, but adding some organic calcium supplements have helped with density on my indoor grows.

a little off topic but how do you keep buds bright green? mines always go dark brown.
there is a bud enhancer chemical called "paclo" for short that is way uncool:

if the plant naturally forms rock hard buds outdoors it usually bud rots before harvest. extremely gooey strains will cure into rock hard buds naturally during the curing process.

Here's the secret, FIRST TIME EVER PUBLIC RELEASE. From the ineligible scribblings of some hillbilly whose been doing it "far longer than we've been alive".
When you start to dry your buds, you will notice after a few days, they almost feel MORE moist, if not WET. This is because the moisture from inside the bud and stem are "sweating", kinda perspiration-like. This is how you get the moisture out of your bud. Once you get this desirable "wetness", you take your bud between your palms, and you SMASH IT. SMASH IT GOOD. Let it finish drying, 3-7 days. Throw away all the moldy buds you've caused doing this. Notice, how the bud feels solid as a rock now? Rock hard bud. NOBODY WILL EVER KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! Just sell your rock hard pancakes as some "maple syrup kush" or whatever floats your market.

From times I have grown fairly large numbers outdoors (about100), from seeds from various sources, bagseed, homegrown, bought, I have had some with naturally rock hard nugs. Not many but some. They were not better than the rest, most I would class as ordinary.

commercial market is not connoisseur market. commercial market is not personal smoke market. commercial market is about making money.
the dealers want something that turns easy, makes 'em lots of easy money and customers come back happy happy.

od grows will be in the tons weight wise. we can price our product at $60/oz to the customer at canna farmers market and make $2,000,000/ton (60/0z = $1,000/# = 2,000,000/ton.
these ton grows are already happening many places in the world. they will be happening in your area as the canna market laws continue to loosen up.

Bright green buds? How about the old school saying of lime green buds with red hairs? Even the Mexican reggie version of those colors will light you ass up. Screwing with the trichs seems like a good way to lessen the quality of decent bud. Many trimmers and electric trimmer operators cut too close to the bud and knock off a bunch of the trichs also which lowers the quality by a bunch. Sure, it makes a pretty bud but pretty is a matter of education. A little more leaf with the normal look of a non clipped bud looks much prettier to me than a slick cut round ball minus a bunch of the trichs. Sure, it make better hash for the grower to sell but screws the bud buyer in the ass. Same as those unscrupulous growers that slap the buds on a screen before bagging them for resale so they can have some keif to smoke. If you are gonna shake the bud, keep them to smoke with people or give them away to the poor folks. Be sure and tell them what they are. A little honesty goes a long way and as far as hard buds, it is cool but hard to smoke anyway and I have never heard some asshole complaining about soft buds after they had a few tokes of the weed. If they do, run their picky asses off. They can go buy themselves a dime of dirt weed reggie off a crack dealer in scary town...
ha ha compress your buds ya say.. back east one time I had a few lbs of killer smoke but nobody would touch it when I had a few samples...so I broke it up into batches in ziplocks and put it under mattress. messed with it a few times then dried it out....sold it all in short time..everyone was saying it was killer....I did a lot of laughing and no one knew why....hey ya do what the customers want if you want to make $$$$$$$

As Pope, I don't care if the buds are rock hard - personally I always find a nice outdoor haze a truly beautiful thing and couldn't care how loose that shit is. In fact, I'm currently trying to get rid of my last remaining Bishops that like things rock hard. Not buds, unfortunately.
