How close can each plant be in the ground outdoors?

Hello ICMag!
I have a really quick question that can hopefully be answered easily.
I have 6 plants in the ground about 1 foot away from each other. There various strains in the ground ranging from 6 feet to 2 feet and so on.
Is it fine to have the plants that close together? And would they all grow normally, but just be crowded?
Thanks for the help :D

O man, 6 to 8 feet can't happen now so I'm screwed on that one WelderDan. I'll keep that for the future though. There's nice airflow in that corner I believe. Especially if I turn the central air on and the fan starts blowing, because the plants are surrounding it.
Mendo-local, are you suggesting to "lollipop" my bottom branches? Or just keep the lower fan leaves and smaller leaves trimmed to the point where I can see the branches pretty clearly? That would seem to improve air flow near the ground where the moisture is. Makes sense to me. But I think I might take a hit with the yield because of it. AHHH!! haha I just wanted a mini amazon jungle of plants, that's all I ask for :D

Sounds to me as if you've answered your own question. Some pics would help us better assess the situation, but it seems as if you've came up with the correct solution. Keep it green!

Tie one back next one forward and so on, then they won't be
All over each other and next time give them 7-10ft centers

Besides for air flow you want maximum light. no plant shadeing out any other. If you can go for 20ft apart do it! Mostly situational though, Like your garden space an plant size. 6-8ft would prob be a good start for next year. Good luck.

Sounds like sound advice to me. Be sure and stake them ladies too, it'll help with the tying. I just staked and light LST'd my babies earlier. Want the sunlight to penetrate deep in the bush and overall increase my yield. Happy growing!
