How big is your playlist?

Well, being bored and sober, i felt like check out my winamp stats. Normally i'm not much for pissing contests, but i'm kinda proud of these stats...

anyway, i'm the kind of guy who thinks of one song he wants to hear and then goes out and retrieves every song ever made by that artist... and this habit has resulted in this:

5187 tracks in playlist, average track length: 4:22
Estimated playlist length: 377 hours 35 minutes 34 seconds OR 15+ days

and growing

right now i'm getting all of charles manson's works, as well as marilyn manson (i'm sure you can follow my thought process on that)

it's getting to the point that i will need another hard drive just for music come x-mas.

what about your's guys and gals?

I guess I have the same method of exploring music as you do...I enjoy an artist and have to listen to their entire collection of music.
After several hard drive crashes I have lost a bunch of my music, but I still have most of it on c.d..

Anyways,
I have 5859 tracks, with an estimated play length of 420 hours, 10 minutes, 5 seconds.

Mine IS bigger than yours...I'm just kidding Sounds like you and I are both obsessive with their music.

Well - it's fairly big, I mean no one has ever complained (to my face, anyway). Sure, others prob could have bigger ones, but on the average, mine's quite decent.

I've never really judged my self worth by the size of it - I'm not one of those guys that makes it the centre of my unverse.

I mean, why go thru all that grief and doubt, when it's not the size - it's how you use it.

Ohhhhhh - that's something different entirely.

Mines small - really small. People point and laugh, it's so small. My 9 year olds is bigger.

ive got 36 gigs of music on my comp. i buy all the live shows i goto so most of them are live sets. but it keeps me quite satisfied, and i rarely ever hear the same song twice.
