Nice collection. You need a little sift spoon.
Then you can just scoop out a hit's worth
and drop some bombs.)

Really nice, thanks for the pictures and the sharing of what you can.

Loved the one image of the traditional style microscope with the two pair of reading glasses nearby. Very nice.

Only just noticed this thread. Thanks for the inspiration Ester and thanks to DSW for his secret technique from the other thread.

My thoughts:

Somehow create negative charge just strong enough to attract the lighter contaminants and stalks whilst leaving the heavier resin heads, much in the same way as the salt & pepper static trick from schoool science.

Peace

Or alternatively, place farmer's grade sift on 70u screen and place negatively charged material underneath the 70u screen, sucking the contaminants and smaller heads through the screen but leaving the larger trichome heads on top?

Peace

Lots of posters over the years have suggested this and no one to my knowledge has has much success in cleaning up rough dry sift into 99% resin. So negative charges used to clean up contaminated dry sift is probably not the answer.
But no matter which way Sam does it, keep in mind that he only yields 10% of the resin on the plant, so I'd suggest the answer to Sam's secret dry sift method will be worked out by someone who starts their experimentation with that fact in mind and it's also likely that it's a very simple technique, much like DSW's method.

Even if this method works (I've never tried using a negative charge for "dry sifting"),the contaminant that are 70 micron and larger will be still be mixed in with the 70+ micron sized trichomes.

I start with trim and small buds, basically "hash from trash" so my yield is not even 10% and cleaning up rough dry sift is exactly what i do. The technique is simple and unlike Dsw's method you can do larger amounts relatively quickly..

My above post was poorly written. Actually, my intention was to write that no one, to my knowledge, has shown how to clean up rough dry into 99% with negative charges...and yeah, we all know you and Sam can turn rough sift into 99% resin, we get reminded at every opportunity.

"and cleaning up rough dry sift is exactly what i do. The technique is simple and unlike Dsw's method you can do larger amounts relatively quickly.."

this sentence needs an ending, something along the lines of " can do large amounts relatively quickly and learn how to do it yourself by following the step by step instructions and photos below...."

I'm not holding my breath for either you or Sam to show us the technique. Keeping a secret is your prerogative, but it's probably a good idea to stop mentioning "I can easily and quickly turn rough dry sift into 99% pure resin" at every chance without posting the method as you might be perceived by some readers as being an ass.
