I'm staying at the Singel....literally down the street from SD and they advertise internet access. Three stars but very economical IMO :wink:

Try the Prins Hendrick as it's in a good location and fairly reasonable with large rooms and private baths. Kinda dumpy but there is a link for www.hotel.nl or something like that to investigate a room. Go 2 star minimum is my advice and get located in walking distance from Grand Central station. BOG

yes it does BOGgy, and I plan on taking advantage.....my plane gets in at 2:30 pm, by 3:15 I should be at the hotel for checkin and by 3:30 at Seeds Direct to pick up my pass and get pointed in the right direction :smile:

It is Conveniently Located, has great breakfast buffet, huge rooms good views
and is worth the price.

If you go, make yourself happy and treat yourself to a nice hotel.

hey fred ill be in the Damrack with ya :smile: its pretty damn close...not like right next door but a VERY short walk. I can see some late night sessions going on in the Damrack with all the people i heard staying there :friends:

I am currently booked at the Damrak as well, though my buddy did some research, and found that every single reveiw of that place from 4/2004 was that it was a shithole. I mean he read me like 20 reveiws and I almost had to pull my car over as I was LMAO. When I get my hands on the reveiws I will post some. Anywho, now not sure if we are going to stay there. Any opinions??

lol ive heard good things about it...its 3 star, i stayed in a few places while i was there and frankly compared to hotels in north america and london etc....they were pretty eehhh....but hey this one looks way better than the places i got last time. Ill give it a whirl, plus i got the 3 person for the same price as the 2 person.

200 a night at the Damrak is a bit pricey for me but its in a good location. I spend little time in my room when in Amsterdam so all I want is my privacy at night. My room is 100 per night and has a view of Grand Central Station, 2 double beds and a large room with a nice private bathroom. The TV is kinda small but wtf? BOG

yea here it is...cant be too bad if Bog himself will be with us :smile:
