they are actually as hardy as owt..

you IBL'd..
there is absolutely no way you could have possibly rolled that out of them...
But..
seedlings that small are sensitive...

(You need a patio table like I have..it is a life-saver at times..especially for torrential rain.)

As soon as I saw the two main leaves done in I knew they were dead to you.
That is their heart and lungs at that stage..there was no recovery possible.

Maybe the weather is on the turn around though...

Finally got some time off from work to get some pics for you. They are starting to take off a little now. We've been getting a lot better weather the last few days. Temps are to be near 80 F. today... Yay! haha... Two of the Jems have some kinda problem with the leaves. I thought it could be from the cold or something. I almost thought it was over watering from when it rained all day. But they are dried out now and still look the same... We shall see if they pull out of it. anyways heres some pics of the grow.

Jems - You can see the two weird jems on the left. Never had this before with them..

Botanaist - Yes read cups this run, Its just what they had on sale... Id rather use green cups as they dont draw as much attention as the red.

Man I just had a whole nice post read to go and click the post button and the shit froze up.... Ahhh don't you hate when that happens... anyways... The weather seems to have turned for the better here. Maybe some of that sunshine karma you sent mossy has finally made its way here. I got some beans soaking today that will be planted tmrw. On the menu for this run are a few of the Jems, Lowasis , and LR#2. I thought about just germing all the remaining Lowasis beans. I think its better to wait as I could germ them after these ones sex if no males show. I'm excited to see what these new AF additions to my garden can do. Seeing as this is my first time with these. I think I will get my vegi garden going as well. Then I can get some AF's camouflaged in there as well as giving them as much root space as possible. Well thats about it, maybe in a week or so ill have a few pics.

I got the beans planted a few days ago. They are enjoying some nice sunny spring weather. About 50% of the beans already had cracked open and had small white tails coming out. This was after only a 24 hour pre soak. A good sign I would say... We may have a small weather system going through this weekend. I don't think its really going to drop and significant amounts of rain.

Geeze mossy bad weather on your end still?... I will be sending some sunshine from here your way. Temps have been in the mid 70s all week. There is a small chance of rain in a few days though. So far no seeds have popped their heads out of the soil. I think that will happen soon. Maybe I can get a day off from work soon and get the vegi garden going. Then I wont have to worry about the AFs getting root bound in their cups. I plan on planting them in the garden once they show sex. The males will be left in the cups to delay their flowering.

A couple of the seeds have already started to pop out of the soil. I will get you some pics in a few days. A weak weather system is spossed to be moving through today and tmrw. I hope it doesn't drop to much rain. I think we should be alright..

Good news on the grow... All the LR2 beans and Lowasis beans have popped out of the soil. Temps are cooler today and thundershowers are in the forecast. Tmrw will be warm again though. None of the Jems have shown their heads yet. I think I planted them a little deeper. I put all the jems in one big pot to see if it works out any better on the yield. They will be planted in my vegi garden anyways so I don't think it will really matter.

Just a quick update.. All seeds have sprouted and are enjoying nice weather. Temps have been in the low 80s all this week. They seem to be soaking those suns rays right in. I haven't really had time to get pics... Been to busy working, but there aint much to see. When I get some time ill get a few shots. Anyways stay safe out there guys...

Yeah m8..still been crappy over here.
My m8 says that yesterday was supposed to be the season breaking..
and it was cold cloudy and windy..ho hum..
But..
this is about the 6th time we have been told that..so I'm not holding my breath.

I've been to see the builders..they are coming next week for final measures and to make sure that the site is level for fixings..
and fitting the week after.

Bummer...I'm gonna hit problems..so I guess some culling is inevitible.



That's the way it goes sometimes huh..
not worth fretting about things you cannot change.

(just gives me an excuse to smoke more so I'm chilled....
every cloud has a silver lining eh!)

The girls I have out are doing okay..but I'm trying not to get attatched incase I have to cut their pretty little heads off....

Well I finally managed to get some pics for you guys... Weather has been nice as of late. Temps in the 70s to 80s, except for today a small weather front has moved in and cooled things down. Everything should be cleared back up by tmrw though. I had a 100% germ rate this time around. Everything seems be growing pretty good. Deff a lot better then the last batch of seeds I tried to get going. I'm putting my vegi garden in this week. These AF's will be going directly in the ground as soon as I see some hairs. The males i will most likely leave in the beer cups to slow down their flowering a bit. I want to IBL the lowasis to make more seeds. I have a multi germ pot of jems that I will plant directly in the garden as well. Im thinking about pulling the males that show in that pot, then just re germing a new batch and pollinate with those. Anyways here's a few pics.. this thread was looking pretty bare for a minute... ha

No one had anything to say about my wimpy lookin sprouts?? Ha Just kidding... I got some fresh pics for you today. Temps have been perfect for starting young seedlings. Some days have been sunny with partial clouds. Temps have been in the mid 70s to 80s all week. The ladies seem to be loving it. :yay: However another small weather front is moving in today.... Seems the rain just doesn't want to stop this year... Nothing major but I'd rather be seeing some warm sunny days over here. They should be starting to show signs of sex soon. When they do I will be planting them directly in the ground. Anyways here some pics...
