:joint: Lets see if I understand what your saying. You would rather buy a piece of "shit", that would most likely fall apart after a few grows, allowing multiple light leaks, rather than purchase the hydro-hut, which is better quality and that one light leak is easily fixed a dozen ways. Your rationale exscapes me.

I've noticed that people don't actually like to click a link to find out more information. So I'll go ahead and copy and paste it here, for your benefit:

I finally got around to assembling my HomeBox XL today.

Let me just say that I was pretty disappointed, having owned a HydroHut Mini before.

The cover isn't as heavy. It feels a bit more rigid, if you will, and a bit more "plasticky" vs "rubbery"... not sure how to describe it. It just feels cheaper.

The seams weren't very strong. In fact a small 3-inch portion just ripped due to the way they stitched the seams without reinforcement (the top panel).

The 6" flanges aren't quite 6", it's a hair smaller which is annoying as fuck.

The zippers are plastic-toothed. It looked like metal zippers in the picture, but no it's very weak plastic zippers which don't zip closed very smoothly. I can just picture the zippers failing after a year or so of use. No wonder they have additional velcro... I guess they anticipated the zippers failing, so the velcro is a backup. The HydroHut had plastic zippers as well, but it had heavy-duty, large-toothed zippers which was just going to last.

The velcro of the removable floor wasn't even aligned well. Most of the velcro fit and lined up, but some pieces just don't line up causing one side to just sag down. Lame.

The ceiling wires weren't as tight-fitting as the HydroHut's, so it sags a lot more with the weight of a reflector.

The low-quality mesh over the intake vents weren't even trimmed, it's just roughly sewen on there with the edges in plain view (also kinda hard to explain)... just poor workmanship.

These are just a bunch of little differences, but it all adds up to a far inferior product. Next time, I'm going to do it right and get a HydroHut Original or HydroHut Mini. I say "next time" because I'm sure this thing is going to fall apart or otherwise malfunction after some use.

Maybe I can sell it right now for a small loss... hrmm...

the only one is from the intakes, other than that there are no other leeks.

see if you have multiple cabs in the same room, and they are on opposite light schedules and your not getting leaks, then that's what i need...i got multiple cabs all running differet times, so when cab A is dark, cab B is blazin 600 watts right on cab A...i need pure lightproof...i hate when people claim "lightproof" when it's not...well see

I have never seen one of these huts up close and what not, and maybe i'm just thick headed, but where do you intake air from if those flaps are closed up tight like that?

You either open your hut slightly or leave the flap open that's on a wall if you get what I'm saying. I love my HydroHut, it's a definate space to grow and you can add stuff like light, fan, scrubber ect. very easily. It's awsome. If the room where the hut is located doesn't have the light on during your dark period then you wont have light leaks.

Good luck, it's a great investment.
