Homebox tent user?

Hey Pan,

Can I hit ya up w/ one more question? You've been growing in tents for a bit so I want to take advantage......I have the good fortune of getting a 600 w from a friend for no charge. I need to get the hood which will definately need to be A/C I know, if I go this route.

Question, do you think with enough ventilation and fan'age' I could do a 600 in a 3x3 tent and keep the temps/humidity in check? I'm on the north oregon coast which is mild, even in summer...

thanks everyone for all your input. I have made up my mind and went with the secret jardin darkrooms. I'll be getting 2 DR80 tents in a few weeks! I have another question about venting. I plan on extracting air out through a 6" carbon filter and fan but im not planning on venting any fresh air in. Will this be ok or will my plant suffer from it? I'll have 1 or 2 fans in there though to keep the air moving.

If you don't have air coming in your tent walls will implode.

i have to agree. i got a homebox xl and i can see light from the HPS shining through in about a million places, but when the lights off and its all closed up, it's pretty damn dark. darker than it would be in nature at night, that's for sure

i did a lot of research about these tents and they'll all pretty much do the job. every person i've seen post about the light leaks say that they're easily patched up. if you have the extra $$ to spend just go with the growlab. i'm sure you'll be a satisfied customer

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to take price into consideration as money's never the object for my rooms.

The Homebox is a fine tent as well if you're going to pinch pennies.

Mercedes vs. Chevy. They'll both get you there, one is just a bit more supa fly.

heh but shouldnt the mercedes have 0 light leaks?

honestly i'd like [if possible] pix from teh outside when the lights are on in the tents - it matters to the `stealth-mode`- i can explain a huge wardrobe tent thing maybe >_<
