Homebox tent user?

Anyone using this brand? If so please post up some pics of the inside. I would like to see how u have yours set up to give me some ideas. Also how do u like the tent? Whats the pros and cons? Would i be better off with a secret jardin tent? Or will the homebox be just as good, if not maybe even better?

I own a homebox L and XL, not the best made tents but the price and quality can't be beat imo. Personally if i had more cash to burn tho i probally woulda gone with the secret jardin, Silver lining on the inside, stronger support bars and more/better duct holes. I have the oldschool homebox tho, i heard the new ones with silver lining and new support bars are a tad better

I've got a home box 3.35x3.35x6'7. The box label on mine said 50kg max load on my bars so I converted and it came out to 110lbs.... I have a can 66, vortex 6" and a 600 way sun leaves sun bright lamp hung. Alotta weight and it's still sturdy I think LOL ! I have the white lining one. It seems really good and worth the money! Easy to setup but needs bigger intane hole for me, they at 4". Well gues not, it's a small tent

mashup, theres a lot of negative feedback about the growlab light leakage. How bad is yours? have u ran a full cycle yet from start to finish with the growlab? i understand that these tents will not be 100% light proof but i would like to get the brand with the less light leakage. So far i havent hear much about light leaking out from the homebox, only thing i hear that could be better for the homebox is to fix the structure to make it more stronger.

im planning on getting 2 homebox (small), each tent will have a 6" carbon filter + fan combo, 400W cooltube light. Would this setup be overkill for the small homebox tent?

GrowLabs are the most light tight tents out there.

They all (every tent manufactured) have glowing zippers though, if that matters. You can get anal with Velcro if it does bother you.

You can slightly see through the Secret Jardin/Dark Rooms at night.

No tent anywhere has light leak problems that interfere with the photo period. People just wine about seeing a speck of light or something. As if that's going to be the difference between hiding the elephant in the room or not.

mashup, the comments were left on the grow tent thread. My original choices were between the growlab and secret jardin. But after hearing lot of feedbacks about the silver lining from the growlab/secret jardin causing some light leakage and from the zipper it kinda made me concern. So i started looking at the homebox tent but then everyone is saying how weak and clumsy the homebox looks so now im stuck. I cant make up my mind which brand to get because as soon as i think i have my mind made up i find another bad comment about the tent. Its driving me crazy! lol.. i dont want to waste money on a tent that is gonna go to waste. Only if i can get more people to give good feeback on the growlab tent because i really like the growlab tent.

i have to agree. i got a homebox xl and i can see light from the HPS shining through in about a million places, but when the lights off and its all closed up, it's pretty damn dark. darker than it would be in nature at night, that's for sure

i did a lot of research about these tents and they'll all pretty much do the job. every person i've seen post about the light leaks say that they're easily patched up. if you have the extra $$ to spend just go with the growlab. i'm sure you'll be a satisfied customer

The GrowLab is a HomeBox... just improved. Different fabric from every other manufacturer.

that comment is good enough for me! how long was the wait time before u receive your growlab tent from BGhydro? i just checked the site out and they have both of the sizes i want. I remember reading on the grow tent thread that BChydro customer service is terrible right now and u have to wait over a month or so just to get your product?

I'll have to go with that comment. I got shafted and elevated my complaints to the head manager. I'm talking 5 days though, not a month.

Funny story though. The 145L when first listed was a typo. Supposed to cost $639, but I paid $369!! Then when I complained about their shitty service I got free shipping as well. So I'm still down to do business with them. LOL

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to take price into consideration as money's never the object for my rooms.

The Homebox is a fine tent as well if you're going to pinch pennies.

Mercedes vs. Chevy. They'll both get you there, one is just a bit more supa fly.

Do you have a local grow shop? Ask them to set up an account and do the deal. That's what I did after being shafted at BGHydro.

Otherwise you may try calling Everest Garden Supply yourself and see if they'll hook you up outright.

Did ya read what I have hanging on mine? You really gonna put something bigger than a can filter 66 42+ lbs, 6inch. Vortex, insulated duct,600watt lamp/ aircooled hood, yoyo,oscil. Fan.... Like 75-85lbs, and still standing with me leaning hard on it! All in a 3ftx3ftx6'7". Built for tough! LOL
