funny a$$ thread for sure....how sticky is the bud ? how did you grow it ?
just grew it in some nursery soil used chemical ferts and was under an ass load of flouros. o i also LST it the yeild was really low as this was my first grow i blame it on my skill. i ordered the seeds from weedfarmer and lately ive been hearing that their seeds are a crap shoot so i dont really know what the hell i got. im reveggin the two females now and plan to take clones for moms. dont worry im keeping the genetics alive.

The first time I got high from smoking I was definitely feeling the effects for 36 hours. I went bowling 24 hours later and I think the way I felt then is how I feel normally now after I smoke.
Who knows though, he may have a super mutant on his hands. I dunno about this though until I hear some collaborating stories. Get those genetics to some established growers, see what they can do!

yeah the tollerance has to be it, yor own grown herb is always going to be better than what you buy, just knowing that YOU grew it is enough to send you to a better high even if its a medium THC strain like top44, ive heard a some what similar experience with some Jack Herer, i guess it has unstable genetics. Some people are alot more sensitive to higher doeses of THC, which means if you have been smoking OK herb for awhile"6-10 percent" THC and then you grow and smoke some properly grown 15 percent THC, your going to react differently. let me tell you, smoke some G13 honey oil, that will bring you to another world lol. anyways, maybe you have a slight case of anxiety? Something in your nervous system telling you your still high, if your in the right mind set you will deffenetly feal high for awhile after smoking some good herb.

I agree that probably some people that smoke top44 are just used to lower potency buds, especially since it is grown by many beginners since it is listed as a 'beginner' strain. BUT, I also think top44 can be better than what people think.. when you've got mostly beginners growing it, they can't possibly be doing everything right.. In the right hands it is a top quality strain. Top 44 is viking x skunk (original or #1 maybe?). I can't find much info on the viking strain, but you can ALWAYS tell you have the 44 day pheno (and it does exist) if you see preflowers after a few weeks of veg. the 44 day phenos are more indica and stay very short, the sativa pheno is a little longer flower time (56-60days), but still short for a sativa. good yielder, the buds all form, and then most of them mature all at the same time. The larger taller sativa pheno however, is the only pheno that I have seen turn purple under cold temps, even in the 50's the indica pheno won't turn purple, and the shorter sativa pheno's won't usually turn purple either. I love the size of the calyx's, very large on all of them. I have heard many reports of trippy high's, and unusually high potency with some top 44 pheno's, and they can get so frosted with trichomes that you'd think they were part hashplant. Trichomes will form all over, the main stems, the branches, and the fan leafs...even the largest ones. I guess you just have to grow it right and get lucky with a good pheno. Even in chemical hydro they smell strong.

This ia probab\ly the gene flip out causing this guy to wig out, I know a guy who acts all crazy when he smokes pot and normal if he smokes geeze, the dude is crazy to begin with though so it could be a combo of that and possibly the sativa pheno, maybe he never had a sativa pheno, I couldn't read all this it was just to funny.
I remember the first time I had a sativa smoke, I started ramblin on and on, about the govenment, now that I think about it kinda crazy but not like this.

Do these special pheno's of top 44 finish in 44 days... or do they need to be taken longer to get the trip effect, if your an accomplished stoner

44 day pheno does need to go for a little longer for a 'trippy effect', most pheno's aren't 44 day finishers, more around 55-60 or so. I think the high is just too strong for some people, and thats why they say it is 'trippy', just some good quality cannabis to me.
this is someones top44 at day 55 (good n ripe)... well worth the wait and still a respectable flower time IMO. if you veg for say 3 weeks, thats 21 days, plus the 55 day flower, thats 76 days total from seed. thats less than 3 months from seed to finish and you can still harvest atleast an ounce or two, maybe more.

well, top44 is skunk X viking, and I know skunk is a high quality strain, in fact it is crossed with many popular strains, some people claim the best they ever smoked was skunk (see the roadkill skunk thread?). Either way, top44 doesn't get enough credit in the cannabis world. You may have gotten top44, you may not have. If it was seeds from a well respected seed company, then you probably got top44. as for the smell, I don't know. if you bought buds, you sure it wasn't sprayed with bug spray? people have been known to do this, and it can really mess you up.

lol naw o grew this myself. it was very narcotic. pretty much all i would do when smoking it was sit in front of the tv eat watch porn and sleep... at one point i did that for a week straight... literally. only time i went out was to get more food. i would sit on my couch or on the floor eat for awhile watch some movies fall asleep for 4 hours then wake up and just start doing exactly what i was doing when i fell asleep. time just kinda faded away it was weird... i would sleep and wake up and it would be 3 in the morning then fall asleep a few hours later... good memories. unfortunatley the genetics are dead and gone due to a lighting problem...

that wuz a funny report, nvr heard of top44 being so strong, reminds me of a time when some rookie smokers got ahold of my homegrown bud and told their friends that they "were in flordia" when they asked where they where at. lol
