1. The blackberry, up top and a super skunk male off to the side which is destined to fuck my white rhine, and his own sister. Little does he know.

2. The White Rhino, week 2.

3. The end of the hydro thingy.

4. Another shot of the inside.

BTW, this system won't be complete without a res cooler this summer. There is no way I'm dicking around with frozen gallon jugs. Right now it will be used as a $900 water pump and holding tank for my WR soil grow.

As an ending note for this thread. If anyone wants to build their own of this type of system, it can probably be done for half the price, but the most important part would be to make sure to stay with 6, or even 8 inch square tubes. The only off the shelf thing I can think of would be vinyl post wrappers with end caps. (not that cheap). Rain gutters wouldn't cut it, and would probably clog up with the roots.

stoned-trout. maybe start a flower garden. that is what i did with my refuse. people never think about it or make a connection, just that your a re a good flower gardener.

bob-smith. I did hydro. aero style personal design. works great too. I also did organic dirt and that was easier daily efforts.

Only bad part of dirt is hauling it around up and down stairs, etc.

good part about hydro, set up a Reverse Osmosis water system at home no hauling water, just ph neutral water. get em from home depot pretty cheap 3 gallon storage capacity works great.

Hmm, tricky guy, eh, Bob...

I didn’t catch it straight off. But the press in the living room made the bullshit obvious.

Anyway, pictures often do better justice than words. So here’s some pics to provide comparison points between soil and aero. You can see, even though the pic of the mom isn’t a close-up, that aero provided some nice stacking whereas soil didn’t...

Thats why I said you could probably duplicate this system for about half the cost. Lowes website tops out at 5 inch fence posts, $25 each. I'd imagine the two end caps would run you $5 each. So now your already $210 into it, with about the most minimum size root zone that will work without clogging. Buying this system was way too easy. It involved one mouse click and about an hour putting it together.

mine came out of work dumpster 6 inch......yeehaw...I errr borrowed the end caps ....lol....yeehaw

Its a nice build you did. I'm currently in a position where my car goes about a mile reliably, and I use that to go to work, so not even Lowes or Home depot is a viable choice. They say I should fix the radiator and brakes. I say fuck that, I do what I want.
