Hey guys..
I have a problem with spots and holes in my fan leaves..I posted this as an update in my sig thread, but no one seems to respond and this might be the right forum..Im not sure whether its a nute burn or bug problem, but its all in the last post in the thread...it seems that people doesnt find my plants all that impressive judging from the amount of replies, but they matter to me so any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

They look good from what I can see. Can't see the holes or spots on the leaves tho. Usually that is a good indication of bugs. Not nute burn.

I checked out you other pics in your thread. Honestly it does look like bug munching to me. Having said that Calcium dificencies(common) or higher levels of Iron(not so common) can cause brown/rusty looking spots. But they usually are accompinied by other symptoms as well giving a better indication. In this section, Cannabis Infirmary, look at the sticky, "Complete guide to Sick plants, ph and pest", and see if anything looks or sounds like what you are describing.

Doesn't seem to be any nute burn to me. I'd investigate the critters aspect and put some sticky traps around them to see what's getting in there.

Overfertilzing would show up first as burned tips and margins rather than interior parts of leaf. Micronutrient toxicity like too much iron would be rust/black spots initially not white. Check your ph. It should be about 5.8 if your using soilless mix like peatmoss or bark and 6-6.5 if you used soil from out in the yard. Your setup looks great!

Greetings, sounds like we have the same little problem and I think I found the culprit its like a little green cricket that nibbles the sweet nutritious new growth and when the leaves grow out the holes become more visable. Not much of a problem just annoying, a little neem oil might help keep the little gits off. :bat:

Hi GDK

those look like nute/water marks from here,,,

However, if you suspect an insect ALWAYS check the undersides of the leaf, paying attention to the edge of the leaf veins

x2 moth caterpillars did all this damage in under 3 hours

hope this helps

Thanks guys...seems like the problem is gone for now. Hope it wont return since flowering has begun..dont want holes in my buds. Doc and sproutco might have been on to something and i will definately check the ph since i suspect it to be a little off.
Thanks guys, and feel free to visit the thread to see whats been goin on since last.
