yeah im really happy with my 2 hmk curve and my friend who got the other one is impressed.. i prolly could have sold 10-20 if they were available.. as who wouldnt want one after they see use mine??

I cant believe the evolution of these things! The OG unobtanium ones are sweet but i can't believe what these things have turned into! Full blown gong with cool new bases "kickstands' i like to call them... I saw a black and white one that my girlfriend went crazy for..The frog one for Dopeys Mom (i think) was awesome too

i never wanted to be a bother and beg a person over the internet for something but its come to the point where i can't keep smoking my oil on top of bowls and dropping bits or having people squish it all over their lighter..........but ive had enough

i love my kut's

the far left one is the only kut pipe. the other two only have hmk curves. the gold fumed is a pakoh/hops inline bubbler and the tube is an AK chaos tube.

Im seeing ALOTT of super heady glass around there, but I dunno where to actually obtain the stuff. I have a bitfreakglass invite coming to me, so maybe they'll have a good selection. I just dont know where everyone gets worked tubes lil minis and oil units and all that.

Ive only got two shops IRL that deal in anything upscale like that (roor, toro, other well knowns blah blah blah)

Aqualab has some good stuff, but id love to get a real nice worked heady oil rig

yeah you probably have. they have a good shop directory that gives a list of almost all the decent shops in north america. bitfreak, chico and shinobi are a few good places as well. its about forming relationship and making connections and meeting different blowers throughout the scene, a lot of them are more willing than you would think... but then again a lot have a long list of orders.

Shinobi glass has some awesome stuff, but for the most part its all sold out..

n3rd has some awesome mini's, I wanna grab one of those and make it an oil unit. those are as close as i'll ever come to an HMK i think.. i really dig the long neck look.. luke wilson also has a ton of stuff i really like..

sure, i guess its a joke, in a way. i had enough bullshit listening to lies about the performance of those things, so i showed the best way i could find to use one well. it was actually done out of a suggestion by one of the few girls around who rocks multiple kutvapes, Khalista. She said she was gonna smash a dome,, and i just went with it

Domes & hooks seem the same to me unless you have some spattery oil, which shouldn't happen anyways.
They might hit differently, but the diff. is negligible, I feel.

I don't mind who uses what, I'm just curious bc I've always viewed hook/dome effectiveness as similar.

How are they mediocre is what I mainly wanted to know out of curiosity..
Whenever I use them I don't seem to lose smoke or anything like that, and a titanium nail is used for the record.
If anything I'd say hooks expose more surface area for oil to stick onto thus resulting in less efficient hits but even that is nitpicking....

So that's why I'm interested to see why it even matters either way...
...at least, why it matters enough to air videos of smashing domes...

I just wanna know what the difference is in your opinion, I dont know why that is such a big deal. I like to analyze things. And talk about it.
I dont go to tc, I am isolated to the ICMAG world, so..no luck there.
Surely you can write a sentence or two as to why you think they're diff.

Think percolation takes away from the oil? I have a skinny 12" double perc'd bong I was considering hooking up with a ti pad. There isn't too much excess airspace with water considered.
