hit by moths...

so i seen a moth in my grow room and i took the liberty to kill it. must of came in when i had the door open.. anyway... there have been a few more... they chill out here like this place is going out of style... anyhow.. on to the problem... tons of moth eggs.. i grow in soil less media and these guys are on the top in the bottom drain holes and i've taken a few plants from the containers and there are even on the sides....... i wonder if there are "in" the soil too... anyway.. i was hoping someone out there has had this same problem and wants to kick down some helpful info on combating this eventually horrific problem... i don't want to be fighting caterpillars :dueling:

i'll take some pictures later and post it on this thread.. i'm sure it might be helpful to somene.

on the other hand... my first thought was a strong 3ml 35% hydrogen peroxide solution per gallon mixed with some neem, and garlic flushed through the contairs might put them in their place... but maybe my plants too..

Are you sure they are not White Flies?

I like to use Ambush for the oddball infestations. It has Permethrin which kills all kinds of flying insects.

Whitefly adults (1/16 inch long) are moth-like insects with powdery white wings and short antenna. They are easily recognized and often found near the tops of plants or on stem ends. Wingless nymphs are flattened, oval and almost scale-like in appearance. After the first instar, or crawler stage, they settle down and attach themselves to the underside of leaves and begin feeding.

well i'm sorry guys i haven't been on the spot with pictures.. but the infestation still drags on.. i'll follow this post with some pictures maybe it will help other people with the same dillema. also to add to this post these plants all came from hermie seeds. i know there have been a few posts regarding the outcome of crops gone hermie... i have a few plants at about 60 days flower that were grown from a crop gone hermie from seed.. so if you have hermie seeds and want to see what you might experience check this out... lemme take some pics

Moths and caterpillars are my biggest problem.

i think it depends where you live- I live in an area where there are loads of them. The moths here are really small and so are the caterpillars- so you can't see the eggs. They still make shit of buds though. i had to stopdoing anything outside.

Pyrethrin works on them here- although I dont know how safe it is. Spray that on surfaces etc. Can you not get BT where you are? I cant get it here.

Pics would be good if you have them.
