Himalayan Ganjas Geurilla Grow In The Swamp

Thanks for the advice!
I made mine as pots, without digging them in, and the turf is dry on its surface. So maybe that could have been better, great things regardless.
Happy growing.

I have Satori and Mandala #1 in five gallon swamp tubes. The tube is garden wire, landscape fabric, compost and perlite. Five gallons because the swamp is remote and I am old. At 42N in Massachusetts, the Mandala #1 will finish mid-September and Satori will finish end-September.

Last year I grew Malawi and Zamaldelica in the new swamp with bigger tubes. It was supposed to be an indoor grow that didn't work out. I got lucky because October was warm and dry. Zamaldelica finished the third week of October and Malawai the end of October. Some of these tubes are 20 or 30 gallons of compost/perlite mix. This year I have Bangi Haze in the new swamp and the Mandala strains in the old swamp.

Very welcome bro. I live where it is legal to grow, but I am always amazed at the innovative ways guerilla growers get it done.

Holy Toledo, Dufous, he don't be half-steppin'. He momma dit'n raise no fools.

Translation : I love them swamp pictures, and they draw me in like a moth to a flame.

So hey, post some more swamp views for the record. This grow is IC Mag history book material for sure, and there'll be more to say as developments unfold deep in the swamp where men are men, and women are grateful.

They get going good when the swamp drains in July.

The water is 6" below the mix surface at planting in June.

First tubes image is post-harvest.

Others show Zamaldelica, 2 weeks pre-harvest, Oct 2017:

In the old swamp the tubes are small and the mix gets invaded by tree roots.

Many of the tubes not shown receive just 4 - 6 hours of direct light, then filtered light. Yields can be low.

The new swamp is definitely awesome with new materials, big tubes and more light.

i dont now about that yours look pretty dang awsome

Flowers are showing this week. A girl and a couple boys so far.

The first image shows the brush tunnel. The second image is looking back at the tunnel after coming out into the clearing.

There are three clearings and three plants per clearing. Nine tubes in this old swamp garden.

Man I like that stealth tunnel. Only the grower and a few deer will ever know about that secret entry way to the plot. Very nice.

The idea of scattering those nine swamp tubes about cuts down the chances of losing the whole crop due to critters or rippers. Spreading the risk is good practice.

Thank you HIMALAYAN GANJA for sharing your thread. I'm up to date on pictures. The next couple of weeks will be spent culling males. The goal is to get four females yielding 3 ounces, a one year personal supply. If the new swamp works out, all the better to share with friends.
