Himalaya Gold in DWC

Even_Steven - Thanks very much. The air in the chamber is almost always 77* F, but when the lights come on it will rise to 80*for the first hour. I've checked the temperature of the water in the DWC with an aquarium thermometer and it's usually in the 70's. I don't add anything to the bubbler except the nutrients and lime to maintain Ph.

Himalaya Gold Week 5 Flowering in DWC

She's really starting to frost  The smell is unique, I would imagine it smelled like Indian hash, b/c it has a sort of distinctive Indian smell that's pleasant.

Wow I'm really glad I stumbled onto this thread, I'm waiting for some clones to root and I'm going to do a 1gal DWC similiar to what your doing for my first shot at hydro!:rasta:
So thanks for some nice inspiration your plants look sooo yummy.

That looks like the exact same computer armoire I have, that your using as a background :yeahthats

nice work i love the plant structure on the HG very exotic look to it. Also that satori is spot on with that single cola style. Also whats that thin fingered sativa you just put in? Is that another Banghi haze?

Peace bro

Jacksparrow - Thank you for the kind words. I hope you have as much fun as I am

floppyfundanglr - The Sativa is Original Haze, but there are some Bangi Haze clones in there also. See ya soon

growpl - thanks

Update

The Himalaya Gold is still on week 6 flowering and the biggest cola is starting to foxtail a little bit :

I can't wait to chop her down!!
Some of the leaves started to yellow on the tips b/c it's only in a 2-liter DWC container and one night it went very low:bashhead: it didn't effect her too much though.

Yeah dude, that plants is very frosty. How does it look on acid? I'd have chopped it down by now. :muahaha: Structurally, it looks like a lot of the popular kushes.

Don't smoke it all at once, m'kay?

Even Steven - Thanks man, it looked the same on acid, but I was waayyy more open to its beauty. I remember in the GHS Himalaya Gold video on you tube that it can be cut down two weeks early and still be quality smoke. But I'm going to let it go the whole 8-9 weeks to see how much more they fatten up. I was also thinking it looked like some of the popular kush varieties.

OldPath, I want to do a "little project" with one DWC bucket. It seems so easy; a small bucket like that would be inconspicuous in my coco room. I eventually want to do a 4 bucket setup but I want to get my feet wet with a one bucket run first. Can you send me a link/tutorial on how to set one up like that? Is it just like the 5gal bucket setup (tutorial) that is stickied in this forum?

I like your camera work too.

fatal1 - The type of bubbler I use is very simple, just a plastic canister with a hole drilled on the side of the top so the air hose can be put it and a airstone also. Then I use the lid to cut out a hole so a 3" net cup can fit in it. This Himalaya Gold is only in a 2 liter plastic rubbermaid canister that you can buy at walmart. They also carry gallon ones also and they are clear so what I did was spray paint it black, then white.

Thanks Oldpath. Things are looking excellent! Give us some feedback on the sample nug when you get a chance.

fatal1 - It dried very quickly because it was only 2 grams wet and I trimmed it once I cut it off. I smoked a bowl without a cure and it was a very nice calm relaxing high even at 6 full weeks of flowering. I can definitely tell it will be a nice calm relaxing couchlock indica high. Also, it tastes a lot like it smells, very pleasant with a hashy aroma.

Update Himalaya Gold Week 8 Flowering:

I will now be flushing her for the last two weeks of flowering. The smell is very nice!! It's like an exotic sweet and spicey hashish aroma.

OMFG THOSE ROOTS!!! Absolutely amazing man, how are they so white and lush, mine get all stained from GH notes. awesome.

Use hydrozyme, it works really great keeping the roots white and algae from growing in your buckets.

Buds looks amazing OldPath, what are using using for your flushing??? I found final phase to be a huge success. Good luck, nice grow..

Thanks guys for all the kind words.

LV Kid - I just was using plain water, but for this last week I think I am going to use a product b/c they hardly yellowed at all. Thanks for the recommendation.
