Forgot to add in the previous post, I was thinking of using one of those Dark Room Twin 60 / DR60T Rev 2.5 by Secret Jardin double layer (veg and grow 60x60x40cm, grow and flower 60 x 60 x 150 cm (length x width x height)) tent or maybe it's bigger brother the Dark Room Twin 90 / DR90T Rev 2.5 by Secret Jardin (veg and grow 90 x 90 x 60 cm and grow and flower 90 x 90 x 160 cm (length x width x height)).
Not sure yet, they seem nice though.

Right now there is only 2 lights up, 1 Reflector 3x192
And a Mars2 700 so close to1300 but I have lots
Of veg room haha need more to fill lol and more

Lmao, there I come with my comming "while everything is running LED setup", yeah you can expect bigger yields then I will haha. Then again, I'll have like, what, howmany plants fit on a square 60x60cm or 90x90? 5? or 20 small ones, whatever something like that. Maybe more, idk, I never worked with LED before .

Why the hell does it come with crappy malasyian instructions though? Did you go cheap and buy it off ebay?

Haha I hate converting aswell, it's fairly annoying if you ask me .

I would buy one of those lights but I can't afford the energy cost plus they'd be knockin at my door in no time lol. My max is set to about 200 watt in total, which includes a small tube tube fan (23w or something) and a small clip fan (16w) so a 170w lamp would pretty much be my top.

Or anything else suggestable that is low powered yet would give a somewhat decent yield, it's really hard to find something to be honest.

I'd run HPS but that would spin the meter like crazy so, eh, gotta go with led, and as little power as possible.

lol yeah I just did a quick calculation if I used a setup that used 400w in total so a 300w lamp plus 100w of other stuff, rounding up the amount of wattage (might be 350w or something but still), what I use now is 1600kWh a year, roughly, sometimes 2000.
What 400w would use if on 18 hours a day for 200 days (not counting summer grow outside), running 1 day it costs 7,2kWh so that makes 1440kWh for 200 days (lol that's almost what I normally use) that multiplied by 0.23 Euro (cost per kWh) is a total of 331,2 euro's which is, roughly, 404 dollars for 200 days. With a total of 400w! not 700w+100w other stuff which would make it double what I just calculated lol.
I seriously can't sell that to anyone over here if they come check my meter

Lmao the only thing on in my house is my computer, my fridge, my tv and 1 freakin lamp lol. Can't cut back on much! Haha, well, atleast the TV is off when I'm in my grow room so that's a little less .

I wonder how a 170w setup would do in a 2 square feet tent though, maybe with a couple 3w normal socket grow lights on the side of each. I might be able to pull off 3-5 plants with that, depending on the size (which is smaller but denser since I only grow indica's) so I might have to trim them a lot and maaybee get something like 170 grams off of it in total then, maybe a bit less, maybe a bit more. I honestly don't know what to expect, I know no one that grows on LED (and none online that ever grew with 170w lamps), everybody grows on HPS and "borrows" power haha.So I have literally nothing to compare to.
I do know some growshops sell these tents with complete set (tube fan, fans, filter, light etc.) and put in a 95w UFO *shrugs*. If they actually sell those as a complete grow kit I'd assume double the power and better LEDs (cuz the UFO's suck as far as I know) should atleast produce some good bud right? lol

Before you get all LED out look around here and
see what they do, A 150 Mixed HPS might be better
if you can keep it cool enough..

Hmm, 150 watt HPS, i've been thinking about that as well, or 200 MH (which seems to have a superior spectrum at the 200w range compared to HPS according to one of the 1000 books I read lol), idk though, how much plants do you think could be supported by 1x 150 compared to the LED's?

I was thinking about maybe using 2x 55w Tneon's, I heard someone say something about that being enough for 1 m2, I seriously never heard of the things before that though lol.

As for keeping it cool enough, uhmm, no AC or whatever but the tent is something like 190cm (a little over 6 feet), I'll be using a simple clip on fan (for tents) and I found a tube fan that pulls out something like 190 m3/h. Think that should be cool enough right?
If all else fails I have a desk fan aswell . On the other hand I've been thinking, the tent is going in the room where my central air control unit is and I have 2 holes left that I can just pop out and let it suck air out with. I could connect a hose to that with a rhino filter infront of it. The things always on the highest speed anyway and I can even make it go faster if I move a little dial on the inside *shrugs*.
