i just got a 48x3 reflector series a few days ago for veg,for the early stage at least im interested to see how well they work out for you. They are putting out a new mars II that will be dimmable, i read there maybe a dimmable kit made available for those who have the 1st adition mars II.

I've watched several LED grows in the past.
Good growers have excellent results with them.
Shitty growers? They could kill an artificial tree!
I will be buying at least 8 - 330wt units for my 2 flower rooms.
I will still run 2 - 1000wt HID's in unison, both HPS and MH.
LED buds tend to grow big buds, but seem to lack full potency and flavor.
So I'm gonna mix the technology and see what happens.
The saving in power will help support my summer A/C needs.

I bought mine for veg but plan on using it with my 400w hps as supplementary light also cuts down on electricity cost & a lot less heat to grow in the summer. Im looking at buying either the reflector 96x3 or mars II 400 for supplemental lighting in flower next but will all depend on if i have the money as money is always pretty tight.
theres a topled/mars hydro thread a mile long on 420magazine where you can find all the info you need for these reflector/mars II etc lights & the customer support etc.

youtube is a really good source too just to see what others are doing with theirs, theres a few guys running reflector series,marsII & new proto types for topled/mars hydro on there now. colorado finest,medgrower1 & a few others i cant remember are running a new prototype that looks insanely bright in a compact design.

it seems they pull some good results by using just leds in flower especially medgrower1 with his groblu apollo but their using the big leds it seems it doesnt work well if you use small leds just not enough power but small leds work good for supplemental light.
colorado finest mentioned you need the uvb lights for high thc production. I like the chinese lights they seem to work well but lights like growblu & advanced have more of a broad color spectrum with uvb/IR etc that really seem to help in flower...if i was going to switch to all led for flower ide probably go with a growblu apollo but not sure if the technology is quite there yet but then again im new to led's & the bigger led's are a little expensive for me to take a leap of faith.

Even air temps have to be mastered.
We are playing god, and take for granted how important it is to keep a winter grow feeling like a warm summer day.
Not only are you keeping certain lights running, but then regulating your exhaust timing to keep temps perfect and humidity under control.
After years of growing in all seasons, you just know shit.
Knowledge is knowing how to deal with problems, wisdom is knowing how to avoid problems all together.
