Hill Temple Collective Nepal HashPlant IBL @ 54 days..

Hey folks.. something new to IC, some pics of Bub's Nepali Hashplant IBL..

this is the 1st plant comin' down, of 4 fems, 1 male, from 5 beans..

Very sativa dom line, which looks to be fairly stable, yet, all plants are not the same.. smokin' the finished bud from each plant when finished will give me a better idea of how/if they differ much..

As with my last PAKI pics, i forgot to turn the resolution back up on my camera, and the battery was dieing.. so they aren't the best pics, but they'll give ya an idea..

She was flipped at about 20" in that 6", 1/2 gallon pot.. She ended up 3.5ish feet tall, so she stretched about 100% topped once.. maybe a lil more..

She took a big tumble about a week back, which broke one of the mains pretty badly and probly stunted her a bit, but i'm still more than happy with the yeild from the lil pot.. 4 nice colas, and serious chunky nugs all the way down.. similar to Steve's Sweet Skunk cutting..

The plants are putting out serious odor, but i'm not sure how to describe it.. I got my brother to trim it or else i'd have a better description..

It was tho, no doubt, the stickiest/gooiest plant either of us have trimmed in ages.. my brother's trimming gloves (he's a sissy, lol) were, for the 1st time, absolutely covered in resin, and so were the scissors.. when I saw that I could jus picture native peoples hand rubbin' these plants for hash in Nepal.. and after seein' that I couldn't wait to run this strain thru the bags..

I have more fems in flower and I'll post em up when the time comes..

hello jimjay, yes, i use smaller pots on testing/inital runs, I like to put them thru their paces and see if any herm action shows it's self.. also, I don't like to waste alot of medium or time for transplants on something that i may not like.. Once I find my keepers I usualy up the pot size a bit, but not by much.. I have kinda found my favorite plant size/medium ratio with my medium and nutes for my op and stick to it..

I use SSM#4 most of the time, but sometimes Promix HP.. I think I prefer the SSM#4 but i can't say for sure yet.. I don't add anything to either (not even perlite) and jus feed with 3 part AN nutes, or Pure Blend for flowering.. I think as long as you feed and water them properly the small pots are fine.. they just don't give u as much buffer from PH/nute issues, so it's best to work yer way down in size rather than up..

indeed.. would be nice for DSeive, aslong as u let her get nice and dry.. I will probly run her thru the bubble bags jus because I don't have a better DS tech/materials yet. I have a tumbler, but it's home made, and takes a ton of time/hassle to make FMCD and isn't that what we're all after?

I hope to pic up an okeif tumbler, and get the proper materials/screens to make FMCD DS hash..

I expect this to be a large yeildin' bubble strain like C99/appollo 11/genius/cheese... etc.. strains with very small, very plentiful trichomes, especialy in the 25-73 range.. I can't wait..

I have him as a father, i won't flower him until i grow the other 20 beans, or unless i do him outside maybe.. jus savin' him until the time is right..

this plant is a bit ahead as I started her in a 3" pot instead of the egg cups like the other 4 plants..



hello weaterdayz, i don't have a SR on her yet.. this is the 1st plant I've grown and it's still flowering for a day or 3.. altho it's mostly done at 54 days from seed and is at a state of almost all cloudy, with light touches of clear and amber.. that's wicked for a mostly sat..

I can say it's very strong smelling, but i honestly can't put my finger on it yet.. i dunno, like some sort of strong thinner, fuel, feck.. my tounge will tell me more, also, i usualy get alot of my smell reviews from trimmin' which my brother did on this one.. I will let eveyone know tho..


Maybe CBF or Bub could chime in, the only 2 peeps i know who have grown her.. I jus remember seein' CBF say it was the best line he had grown from Bub, but that may be his tastes..

give it a week or 2 and i'll post up an early SR on her.. then I'll finish up with pics of the other fems..

you said sativa-dom line, could you go into more detail about its heritage? def doesn't look like a sativa landrace... is this 100% derived from nepali landrace? sorry if the info's avail elsewhere just givin ya a chance to talk 'em up though

btw beancounter i really like the small pots. masterful efficiency. i grow in bottles of only about 1L of useful substrate to produce short single cola plants, if it's something special it gets a 2L coke bottle with about 1.75L of substrate, lol... microgrowing... but that is very impressive... got any root shots out of the can at chop? can you even see the substrate through the roots?

hey BC how are you! thanks for sharing your report with us, sounds and looks killer! they dont call it hashplant for nothing lol.
i really dig how you mannage to keep such a big plant in such a small pot. how many litters is the pot?? looks like 4-5L? I still dont understand how the plant does not get all stressed/rootbound?

i think a run in the tumbler would do some justice. then hand pressed mmmmm stuff will be yummy, i dont see a pic of the male when hes older in that thread.
