Soft Secrets and Weed World are UK mags. Usually found under the counter, as grow shops have to separate themselves from things like seed sales. Also, the mags distribution can be thwarted by it's adverts taking sales away from the shops that hold them. It's more common to find Maximum Yield on the counter. A mag with a more professional approach to gardening, from the US, so it's not openly for a black market. It has articles outside of just weed growing, so is a balanced gardening mag.

I imagine the UK guys would send you mags, if you were to bundle them with seed sales. Giving you all the important views that you need exposing to

Thanks @Ca++ , that makes sense. A friend used to give them to me so didn't really know where they came from
( i've never been to a grow shop, because if i was a rozzer and i wanted to catch growers... i'd stake out the grow shop! )

Shops seem safe from the law. They don't know who you are, or if it's your car, or if it's canna you are actually growing. It's too circumstantial to act upon. Such wishful thinking, and disregard for mistakes, comes from robbers rather than police. Every shop gets watched at some point, and the crooks usually take down car registrations, rather than follow. This makes 'final mile' transport a sensible option. Bikes, scooters, taxi's. Shopping centers can be useful buffers. I really don't like shops either, as you don't know if dash cams are running or not. That 'last mile' transport with covid masks, makes you hard to see or follow. But when I just can't carry it, I pay a friend.

Ordering online has been a shit show of obvious labels and postmen peaking.

Mid covid crisis, I fetched a 150x600 filter by bus. That's not one to repeat.
