What's new

"High Pressure" Aeroponics

Some buds I'm ripening.

In a somewhat bad spot in life right now, but I gotta keep my passion/hobby......or I further spiral down.

Pot sulfate
Mag sulfate
Some NPK salt
IBA
Soluble kelp
H2o2
Calcium chloride

A few things I'm working with, I need to reup on some elements like

Potassium bicarbonate
Pot sillicate
Phosphoric acid

Currently using citric acid.

Oh I need some liquid orca to add to this aero grow too.

@Ca++

Sir, would you help me understand this better?

you suggested potassium Citrate.

does that raise pH?

I thought the "Citrate" would lower it, Gemini says Pot Citrate would increase my pH (alkaline to my understanding)

and I already have citric acid, so if I use potassium Citrate, what would i use instead of the citric acid,(if im using pot citrate, if it doesnt decrease pH, because of the Potassium(???)

for pH down and creating a buffer?

Thank you sir for you're time and advice.

🧐

P.S, I plan on getting Potassium Sillicste and Phosporic Acid to Create MSA, for bioavailabillity in the system, with this extra information, how does this all play into my irrigation solution chemistry?

Learning learning learning....

Wonder if need to plug a different gallon in before I go to bed for a few hours.

First gallon part of the testing , so it went kinda fast, once dialed I suspect I'll use very little water volume.

This 1 gal has been hooked up since the start of tote, about 5 hours

Around 0.2 e.c 5.4 ph.

Using calcium hypochlorous acid as well.

Need to restock 34% h202 , just using the Cheap 3% Rn

Liquid orca next.
Don't mix hydrogen peroxide with chlorine based products. You have to choose either or and there's no reason and very contra productive to use both since the combination create toxic chlorine gas.

Mixing mykos with Aeroponics is asking for troubles. There's no medium to inoculate hence no action and they do more harm than good when being converted and broken down in the solution. What is there to transport when the nutrients are already in readily available ionic form?

Your goal with either oxidizers or mono bacteria cultures is to clean off biofilm from the root stomata to increase uptake. Broad spectrum ecto and endo mykos do absolutely nothing for increased nutrient uptake in hydroponics since there's no medium to inoculate.

I've been doing it this way since I started, have not seen any issues but that doesnt mean there isnt any

when you combine the 2, more oxygen gas is released, I did it for my coco
solution,

i agree the chlorine gas could be prolematic, it does not seem like a lot if produced? im careful with my dosages.

probably not beneficial in aero
When atom is 22% oxygen gas
Have had no problems combining the 2 but I'm still learning

i thought the roots are the medium, and they could still increase root mass and act as a physical barrier, no?

And It's not about transporting already available ions, it's about distribution and root mass, regulated uptake.

Thank you for you're info
