HGOs Multi Strain 3600w Stacked Grow Coco DTW

I'm trying to understand what is "stacked" about this?


I used to crop in a big Victorian that had like 14' ceilings, I always wanted to make a double layer E&F setup with ladders to reach the 2nd level.

The setup wasn't broke thought so I never undertook to fix it

i have now got a 1.2m x 1.2m tent up in loft after having to cut it down 10cm to 170cm in height but it is great, now i just need to fine tune what i got,
i have 7 cheese clones testing but i have so far killed 2 thrip type gnats flying around inside and 1 small spider, i hoping it wernt a spidermite, these seem to have come from the canna coco, in fact can be the only place as loft is sealed,
i veging with vert 200w cfl,, but really is a test at the moment

With as many different bitches as yas`re playin with , along with the "unknowns" at this point in the game , there`s gotta be somethin said about good `ol tried and true DTW with coco \multiple low ppm feeds per day and whatever`s deemed as sufficient runoff , cuz.......

Quick one for ya if you when you got the time, do you think its possible to run the smaller tent vert in a 100 dr instead of a 120?
I ask as i got restricted head room up to 180 cm in fact for only 1m,
but when i measure between the posts i think i maybe pushing plants to close to the light with a max of 1m around,
any advice welcome as i basically have a v roof area where between the v i got 1metre of 1.8 metre to 1.8 metre max, if you understand that, sorry i dont know how to draw a sketch on here.

i was going to start a vert now but i went into my area and it is very hot at the mo so i need to get a tent to get the enviro sorted,
my equipment 1x600w vert 6 cheese clones, 6 11l pots coco, 6" outtake fan 5" intake

Hi mate thank you and welcome to the grow, sorry but I'm not 100% sure what you mean when you talk about the v area and the 1 metre of 1.8. If your growing in a DR100 then you could for sure run a vert, a 600w would be possible but you will need a good intake & extraction, you could always go for a 400w but I think 600w is doable. I would run no more than 4 plants. If you draw up a sketch on MS Pain and upload it here that would help me.

I'm also fighting heat in a small tent vertically, getting a new powerful exhaust fan todya to test the heat. Btw my tent is 90x90x180 with 400W bare.

What size of an extraction do you have Suspect?

Stacked means that the 2 bulbs are, as gonzo' has pointed out, stacked on top of each other. I like the sound of your Ebb & Flow setup.

Things are going good so far. The big tent is currently at 8 days flower and the sativa tent is at 10 days. The sativa tent is getting a little out of control, I don't have photos of it yet but it's very messy.

Thanks RIL mate, the shnapps isn't stretch as much as I thought she would although I'm thinking that she will be one of them gals to keep on stretching to late flower? I know that's what Agent Orange likes to do.

Screens and bulbs will be fixed up tomorrow, massive trim job all around for good measures too.

I have been keeping the bulb down low to minimize the stretch, if it's working it's hard to tell because these girls are stretching like crazy. You can't see the other 3 plants in them pics but I will have individual plant shots on Friday for you all. As you can see I'm really starting to struggle here, I'm 1/3rd of the way through stretch +/- and I'm really starting to lose room. If the worst comes to the worst I'll have to pull out the tray and put the plants at ground level with individual trays, that should get me just over a foot of extra room but I really don't want it to come to that.

The SSSDH, and Riri SD have been toppped multi times in the first week of flower but they recovered quickly. Gonna get out of control here pretty quickly guys, make sure I'm in your prayers lol....

They're in good health and all RIL, too good actually, they are really reaching for the top of the tent. I have been supercropping them but bro that only works for 24 hours, the haze and heavy sativa dominate strains in that tent bounce back so quicklly when you train them, it's my fault for letting them get so big before flower.

Oh yeah I remember them gals, picture of health or what lol, I should start naming my grow threads, HGO's Plant Rehab lol. Thanks RIL I'll do my best bro.

Ok don't laugh but I had a total amateur moment today, I went into the grow room half asleep, instead of plugging in the floor fan I plugged in the water pump, 3 hours later I went into a very soggy floor, 140Ltr rez was just filled last night, emptied! I really gotta upgrade my 2x 40Ltr waste trays.

Think I need a holiday to Spain.

lol thats sick mate i had a 100L waterbutt and 120L system and knocked the float valve way off so it dumped 100+ l of water into my spare room i noticed when it started leaking through the lights downstairs :-/ lesson learned lol
