any idea on what i should expect to harvest? and what is the best way to maximize yield (ie growing a lot of short plants or a few giants..)

SEA OF GREEN, SOG, female clones only, don't veg them, run the lights at night when it's cooler.

You should have passive intakes open. The negative pressure from the fan will keep any odor escaping as long as youre running a carbon filter.
Yep what Kush says.. there should be some vents near the floor I would imagine, I can't see any pictures in the link.. you need to get some cooler air into your tent. Your fan and scrubber will take care of any smells.

Finally got a chance to get some pics i included the inside of my tent my babys im waiting for the root and a couple bigger ones that are going to be my mothers 2 lemonhaze and 1 jack herer comments are welcome :)

Also had a question regarding lighting...i currently have the 2 flourescents on my babys (picture 13) that i transplanted into cups today...My question is would it be better to put in my babys in the tent and hook up my 600 watt metal halide conversion bulb into my 600 watt light fixture and veg them in there or just keep them under the flourescents? i know that running that 600 is going to bring my electric bill up more especially 24 hours of light but will it be the better option to get those babys alot bigger? Also since they are just finally showing roots through the rapid rooter cubes is it still to early for that powerful of light?

Also looking to order a new strain and looking for suggestions...want something with high yield but also good quality high something that would work well in the space i have above and like i said i want to veg for about 30 days then bud for 8 weeks.... sour diesel?

I would put the slowly transition the babys to the higher output light by putting them in little bits at a time and slowly increasing the time until 24hrs. You really want explosive vegetative growth so that when you flower you will have healthy plants and you won't be wasting time staying under the fluorescents.

Since the last time i posted i went ahead and tried to put the newly rooted clones in the

tent with the metal halide bulb, however it must have been too much light for them as it

burnt a couple leaves. So i took them and put them back under the flourescents...growth

seems to be coming along better now ( it started getting cold in the attic and i had not

gotten my space heater up there so it was in the 50s for a while) i know this must have

slowed growth considerably because they werent doing much. However since i put the

heater up there 2 days ago they seem to really be taking off. Only thing im concerned with

is the size of them! they all rooted withing a day of each other and you can tell By the

looks of them they are staggered in size (tomorrow i will post some new pics compared to

the ones above in the dome) Like i said my main concern is when i should put them in the

tent under the hps....a few are doing pretty well and are just about rootbound in the

party cups and i want to transplant soon...but i am still waiting for a couple that are very

small (they took forever to finally root and i just recently put them in the party cups... my

plan has been to veg for 30 days and flower for 8 weeks under the hps.. the thing is the

end of october will be about 37 days since i cut the clones andim curious if i should wait

and extra few weeks before putting them under 12/12 since they arent even a foot tall

yet... id really like to get as much bud off them as possible but wanted to stick to the 30

days veg 8 weeks flowering. i decided im actually going to cut my clones for the next veg

batch tomorrow night so that hopefully they will all be rooted by the end of october and

while this batch hopefully goes in to flowering at the end of the month i can get a full

month of vegging.. on another side not i want to state that im not familiar with feeding

nutrients yet i have all the nutes that came with my grow tent kit and have been doing

some reading as far as feeding every other watering but im a little confused about testing

the ph etc. for example do i get my gallon of water add the specified amounts of nutes

then check ph or do i check the water ph first then add nutes then check ph again? i know

i must sound like and idiot but like i said its all new and i have been trying to do some

reading on the subject but its still foggy.. anyways thanks for reading and looking forward

to some advice! :)

i transplanted the clones into the 3 gallon pots and decided 3 of the rooted clones werent big enough so i cut about 12 new clones tonight and decided im going to put my 3 mothers in with the other 6 bigger sized clones included are some new pics! comments are encouraged :p

Yo looks good, a couple things to consider:

1) if its still to hot in there open up the 6"hole in your tent at the bottom, this will let cool air in, don't worry about smell because the negative pressure will suck it in to the tent and scrubber.
3)You can also air cool that hood (will run much cooler) just loop you duct through the holes on the hood.
2) even out the height of your girls, you want the tops of all them the same distance from your light. If that's a 600 hundie I would go like 10" from the glass to the tops of them. You will probably have to put something under the little ones, (buckets, shelf ETC.). Then you can tie down the big ones (look up LST technique here on ICMAG) . Have fun

That all sounds good but I would like to add that you need to watch out for light leaks during dark hours to prevent the plants from getting stressed. If you are going to do another passive intake like that then be sure light doesn't come back in by running some ducting with a 90 or 180 degree bend in it to "lightproof" it.

Yeh good point, also add a filter at the end to keep dust and pet hair from getting in there. You can just cut up a furnace filter and tape it over the duct. They cost about $10.

Thanks for the feedback its good to hear experienced growers saying positive things since I opened up the rectangle vents at the bottom my temps are at a steady 73 at the base of my clones. Since my last post i have tied down my mothers and just stretched them low across the canapy around the others and the side branches are now growing up towards the light. I will try to post newer pictures tomorrow. I really want to put the how bulb in on the 1st of October still to begin budding however I have a few issues ...I need to put some kind of false wall around my tent in the room because there is a hole in my ceiling to the attic where my begging is taking place and the light shines down into the room so if anyone has cheap suggestion for that it would be appreciated. Also i have been doing a lot of reading on feeding on nutrients and am still quite lost. The kit I purchased comes with 4 different types of nutes grow for veg bloom for budding x2 for both veg and flower and plant energy which is suppose to work as organic acids. I didn't really use any of the grow nutes for vegging because I felt like the babys were growing well just with the ffof. I have read that it would be a good start to feed nutes every other watering to avoid salt buildup is this correct? And not really sure if I should just use the bloom and organic acids or use both bloom and x2... If anyone is familiar with this line of nutrients please help me out I just want to make sure I do this right! :)

Might be easier just to cover the hole in the attic with plywood and drywall screws, should be cheap and easy. Not sure which nutrients you have, but you will probably want a ph/ec meter to keep track of what your feeding. Did the kit come with one?

Chaingmai is do that but I'm still vegging up there so the plywood idea won't work because im going to have to get in there frequently for watering etc.. I was thinking maybe more along to likes of getting a box of large black garbage bags and encase the whole tent from ceiling to floor and of course I'd have to double up and for the door to the room one right around the inside of the door to keep light from my living room/rest of apt out. Do you think this will be sufficient enough? As far as ph I did get a up down test kit my main thing is how big should my plants be to know if I should be giving them "full strength" or half strength and the basic time frame for feeding certain nutrients... After reading the pamphlet tgis is what I came up with...let me know if this seems right....
Week 1 rooting - nothing
Week 2 rooting - nothing
Vegging week 1 - advantage grow and plant energy
Vegging week 2 - advantage grow and plant energy
Vegging week 3 - formula x and plant energy
Vegging week 4 - formula x and plant energy
Budding week 1 - advantage bloom and plant energy
Budding week 2 - advantage bloom and plant energy
Budding week 3 - advantage bloom and plant energy
Budding week 4 - formula x and plant energy
Budding week 5 - formula x and plant energy
Budding week 6 - formula x and plant energy
Budding week 7 - water flush
Budding week 8 - water flush

One other question is I watered each 3 gallon pot on October 22 with 1 gallon of water and they are still pretty heavy when i lift them so I'm wondering with doing feeding nutrients every other watering does that mean I'm only going to get to feed 5 times actual nutrients throughout the 12 weeks? Sorry if I'm confusing anyone but its probably because I'm quite confused myself lol
