Hello everyone. I needed to start this thread because I am having trouble deciding on a strain. I would like to here some input from some of you ppl out there. I will describe what it is I am looking for and what I am doing. To start I am strictly organic, and I love hashy flavor and aromas. I do bio-buckets with anywhere from 12 to 24 plants that range from 2 to 4 feet tall. I try to stay with 1 main stem ( don't really like the bushy ones ). So my real question is " What strain would someone out there suggest for me to look into. Keep in mind I am not a novice grower " Thanks for all the input.

Thanks for the info. I will keep that in mind when I make my final decision. What seed companies would you also suggest. I am a personal fan of gypsy and sensi. Dutch kinda screwed me sending me flow when I ordered blueberry.

I think I'd want some hot sauce to go with that, but you really can't tell if a cross will work or not, some things are left for providence.
If you don't really know your way around strains or haven't smoked that many, some of the things said in the strain forum threads become meaningless. The various crosses or influence of particular genetics become important when you've smoked your way through the whole global range of different cannabis and can put it all into context.
Start with the basic strains, the Skunk, an easy sativa and a hearty indica, the haze, make yourself an opinion where your preferences are, and how you like them. My suggestion would be Skunk #1 or Northern Lights for a start.

hmm, I would go with a couple packs of Hindu Kush, maybe a pack of Skunk#1 (jus to get yer bearings like Rosey said, and to use for breeding if u feel up to it), a pack of AK48 maybe.. I believe Aurora Indica, Ice, Power Plant, White Rhino and White Widow all to be fairly well liked lines from nirvana..

Since u are newer to growing, I would take maybe 100-200 bucks and invest in a variety of nirvana or maybe mandala gear..

Or, get one of those nirvana 4-packs from seedbay, and some Blockhead from Spice Of Life.. a few cheap ones and one pricier one (altho BH is reasonable)..

since u were fairly specific, it' hard to think of anything better than the above.. I'd recomend Deep CHunk for the flavor u want, but it probly wouldn't yeild enough for u, and u can't buy them atm.. Something like SourD IBL would give u some real tasty plants, but they do better topped, and are a lil bit lanky.. They're also sometimes finicky to germ, so it would be better to get practice 1st.. C99 is somethng i would def recomend, but there's not many choices left for her from breeders..

smoking/growing pot is very person specific, people have a vast array of preferences.. It's best to try to grow as many different strains as u can, keeping clones.. and when u find the plant that u love, keep a mum.. You will learn alot more growing multiple strains than just one, altho it will involve slightly more work.. it's still easy enough..

good luck

I like the sounds of the c99, but like you said its fair and few between. When I do find one I like it is usually out of stock. The two strains on the top of my list are c99 and a sweet tooth #3 or #4, but are rare or expensive. The yield doesn't really bother me because I have my cash croppers. I want to find that hashy bud for personal. :joint:
