Hermie issue

My plants are 3 weeks from completion, and in the flat I rent I had a day to shift my plants after I found out a plumber was coming to fit a whole new heating system over 2 days.

They are in my mates flat, and I had to break the dark cycle, and they are just getting natural light which is about 18/6 here at the moment.

So a few questions.

1. when I get the back, is there anything I can do to reduce the risk of hermies? e.g. put the in the dark for 24 hrs?

2. If they do hermie, can I still save them, and what tips do you have for this?

3. Is it likely to be not too bad because of the stage they are in?

Thanks folks.

Hermies usually come from interuptionsin the dark cycle, not from extended light or dark cycles. The worst that can happen is it may take then a few days to adjust to the differerent light cycles causing them to finish a little bit slower.

Cant you give your mate a timer & a CFL or something? failing that cant you get there to switch 12/12 yaself, cover em-stick em in a cupboard. 2 days wont/should be much of a problem. i wouldnt like to go any longer than that at all.

A one time glitch will do no harm. Do it repeatedly and you'll have trouble.

i don't think three weeks is long enough to throw seed.
in my experience, if the plants are to hermie that late the damage will be minimal...
have faith.
