not the water doesnt come from a well.

here are some pics. from what i can tell, everything is good to go, but still no water. the water valve is on, the outside controllers are all turned in the on position and the control box is set to run. I even tried to manually start any/all sprinklers, but no luck.

I have a Hunter controller, the one above yours.

When you set it to manual, you still need to select a zone and run time.


Setting it on run makes it run the pre programmed schedule. So if that is not set, then nothing will turn on. Remember, only one zone will turn on at a time. Also try all the zones. It is possible for one zone to not come on as the valve may be clogged.

If you are sure the controller is not an issue, make sure water is flowing. Turn the valve on and off and see if you can hear water.

You can remove those solenoids and open those valves. Turn the water off first, open the valves up, then turn the water on. If you flood the box, then you have water. Turn water off and let the box drain, then reassembe the valve.

Those outside controllers should be set to off I think. Turning them on is only to operate them manually. If they are all on at the same time, there is not enough water pressure to operate all of them. Only one zone (a group of sprinklers) can run at once.
