Here are my germinating seeds. all bagseed. I put them all in there expecting about 80-90 percent to sprout.

here are some that sprouted tails. Into the muffin container... (its divided into 12 equal squares, no root strangling)

this one is three days old. Sprouted on 4/04. It has one leaf that is really big and one mj leaf that is really small and yellow on the tip. What is wrong?

Here is my best guy. He was born on 4/04 but is growing pretty damn good. He is about three times as big as the other plants that sprouted on the same day.

Another of the big guy. He doesn't seem to have any problems.

Here is a quick picture of one of the grow boxes i have. simple and efficient.

I am growing with 100 watt equivalent cfls in miracle grow soil (no nutes or ferts, just the soil. I flushed it) I also mixed some perlite and a tad bit of peat moss. Hopefully i will soon have a nice veg box and flowerbox for a few indoor plants. (90% of these plants will be going outside the first week of may.

On question i did have was why is that one plant so BIG compared to the others of the same birthday? Since the seeds are from bag seed, maybe this seed was from a better bag that had great genetic?

Any help will be appreciated and sorry for the blurry pics, ill get better ones.

number one problem, using miracle grow. I can almost guarantee you that the reason your seedlings are like that is because of your medium.

I started growing about 6 months ago and being a newbie, newbies like to rush into things because its so exciting. BUT, i became patient when choosing the right medium. I found the nearest hydroponic store and purchased some fox farm ocean forrest soil. Reason why i gave you this story is because i am recommending you being patient. Purchase some nice soil medium and when you transplant into bigger pots, use the new medium along with your already used miracle gaygrow.

I am not really alll that anxious. I looked around quite a bit and this was honestly the best i could find.

if u keep using the same soil, you have little chance of making it to flower.. they look burned. some phenotypes can handle nutes better, but it will affect your final yield

not true you can easily grow in MG.. if anyone knows seemorbuds from roll it up he wrote a book and uses MG and he even uses the one that feeds for 3 months... which most people say is a no no ... you also got the MG organic which i think is pretty decent... not saying MG is the best but it will work.. :) but I do agree that it is a bad soil for seeds being its pretty hot soil... So if you flush it pretty good it should work..

i actually got soil that was NAMED "seedling starter" so idk...

I can almost guarantee you that you can find a near hydroponic or gardening store near you. Trust me, it will save you so much time and effort. If your not anxious at all, then find good soil. Then you will not have to guess if you have nute burn or problems with medium

ya i used the seed starter mix to start with too. that soil i dont think is to hot but it does have a wetting agent... so most likely your plants will be to moist for to long... so what i would do is if your gonna go to wally world again look for the organic MG or what i did is mixed some Expert Gardeners with about 20% MG Perlite and it works pretty damn well...

this is a pic of my old crop... see how they are really small and stuff.. well thanks to the wetting agent and me being a first timer it made my plants not grow fast, keeping them real small.. :p

but now with the mix i just talked about, this is the smallest one... :O

all my supplies are bought from wally world except i did go to my hydro store for neem oil... and some Flora nova Bloom..
but later on i found out i could just use some ferts from wally world... LOL o well..
