I've been away from popping seeds and have used clones exclusively for a few years.
I had always used herbies previously and never with an issue.
Most orders would be with me within 24hrs depending on when I made the order.
I made an order last week, didn't receive my shipping details for a few days.
Then I realised they had moved to Spain after reading a post on icmag that herbies had made.
That was a bit of a bummer but I've ordered from other Spanish distributors before as In ch9 seeds and seedsman, delivery was pretty quick so wasn't too fussed. After all its herbies and they can do no wrong.
Anyway contacted them yesterday to enquire about my order and I spoke to someone called Jared.
He informed me that the seeds were out of stock and offered some Amnesia seeds, I told him I prefer Indica heavy but would accept the Amnesia if it meant I would get my seeds sooner as I'm looking for a Christmas smoke and I need to start soon.
Jared then replied with another offer of another strain which was Indica dominant and I was chuffed, so I accepted
I expressed how grateful I was for them seeming to go above and beyond what I thought was a stock mix up.
So today still no dispatch email, no reply to my query email this morning to see if they had been dispatched today since it was 24hrs since we arranged a replacement strain.
Ive had a look at some recent feedback on trustpilot and it seems there's a problem over in Spain. A good percentage of recent reviews mentions seeds are out of stock after they've made a purchase.
Customers waiting 2 weeks for dispatch and 3 weeks for delivery.
Seems to me like since moving to Spain herbies no longer hold stock and act like a dropshipping website. Customers order from them, then they order from breeders and forward to the customer.
I dunno I'm just speculating.
Either way herbies seems to have gone to sh#t, I was placated by the chat with "Jared" but it now seems it was just all words to keep me quite and I will probably receive the seeds I originally ordered in a couple of weeks time which will be too late to get my Xmas smoke on the go.
Absolutely gutted but hey what am I going to do?
Just a little heads up to anyone looking to order seeds. I would stay away from herbies for a while untill they sort themselves out.. If they sort themselves out.
