so have you ever done the HEMPY with the vermiculite in it?? I always wanted to try Hempys but Im so stuck on pure organics it is hard for me to see the same complex tastes and highs coming from pure chemical fed buds in a HEMPY. I still want to give it a try.

The only other thing I was thinking is trying to make a pure ORGANIC HEMPY bucket using Earth Juice and an air stone to keep the res. fresh from rot of the organics.

Hey SGS, this is my first indoor grow, basically my first grow ever. Did a guerilla grow back in high school with some friends, that was about it, so I don't really have anything to compare to.
I was originally going to do 3:1 Perlite to Vermiculite but Home Depot didn't have any and I kind of forgot about it. I've got two bricks of coco though, my plan is an SOG half coco hempy and half perlite/vermiculite hempy and compare my results once this grow is finished.

Sounds great bro, we need some AF-SOG HEMPY style going bro! Might get my hands a little wet too. Great work bro very interested in seeing your results.

Appreciate that, SGS. I am looking forward to seeing you dabble in hempys if/whenever you decide to ;)

An update on my mazar male - some of hus sacks have begun to open and have dropped some yellow pollen. Few more days and he should be nice and ripe.

I made a gallery for Purple Mazar on my profile, finally was able to snap some pics with a digi cam. Check it out :D

Here's two of the seven pictures of Purple Mazar I took:

Male @ 35 days - I'm gonna harvest his pollen tomorrow or Friday, whenever I have the time.

Female @ 36 days - Smelling of skunky coffee lol, has a bunch of bud sites and is doing very well. So far so good :D Can't wait til she starts trich'in up and showing some colour.

Well I'm impatient and germed six more purple mazar. 5/6 have tails after 24 hours and were placed in my Aerogarden where they will stay for at least a week. I should have started my Taiga under CFL's as well instead of throwing her under the LED so quickly, I think it may have slowed her growth down, at 11 days old she is quite small. I also kept one Sour 60 male who is extrrrra stinky and I harvest the Purple Mazar male to hit a few of the lower budsites on my lady.

New pictures in a few days, nothing looks different yet.

If you dont have color from the start of flowering you most likely have a green/white pheno growing.

Ill have to agree with dargo on this one, that female looks great! But it seems it is a green pheno, usually autos if they are genetically created to show color do so shortly after flowering.. within the 30 day mark forsure...

Awwwww booooooo! i wanted some purps! oh well i just started 5 more.

So since i hit this green pheno mazar with mazar pollen, will i only get green phenos/predominately green??

Time to go smoke the rest of this Sour Cream I have :) Cheers

Good i dont want to mess with males any more :)

My seedling #3 is experiencing problems, it looks like the tap root wasnt deep enough or something and is showing. Once I took the humidity dome off, it sort of wilted to it's side instead of sticking up straight. Heres some pictures to show what I mean:

Sup skotty, I have started all but one auto in the aerogarden and cfl's.. The one I started under LED was the Taiga and it might be too much for her at such a young age. I'm keeping them under the cfl's for a few days, then i'll be making some coco hempys to put them in.

No problem on those cheese autos bro, knew u were waiting patiently and I happened to be surfing Attitude the day they were listed. :)

I'll be taking a bunch of new pics tomorrow to fill out my gallery.

Here's Purple Mazar at 43-44 days old. I'm bad at taking pictures, they don't do her justice ;)

There's a few more new ones in my profile gallery.

Good to see back again, Joe.

I was just looking at your post #32 and I know whats wrong with those seedlings: its a lack of humidity keeping the seed shell from releasing. This leads the seedling to continue stretching for the light, as the leaves aren't getting the light they need. If you up the humidity it will help. You can also gently pop the shells off by hand if you are careful.
