Hey Gnome,
Have you tried isolating a few clones in a different potting mix? .

hey holmes,
I use the same soil for another grow and its kickin ass.
it had something to do with a lockout due to my water source,
99% sure but I lost everything ready to go into flower,
59 plants....:(

I have some smaller back ups that I can use in a week or so but it hurts losing that many after a 6 weeks veg.
FFOF has been working for me pretty good but Ive been thinking of doing a test run with coco,
plants are always lookin happy happy in coco'

hope you get your prob worked out holmes and Ph is always the 1st place to checking for probs imo
and yeah, using the same shears for all your stuff is playing russian roulette fo sure

Yep, media=soil.

I would still opt to get my media tested. Its a good practice to do so even when you aren't experiencing any visible problems. You may discover a hidden hunger with a soil test, and may even end up increasing your yields based off the results.
If you believe water is the likely culprit, definitely get your water tested. Any University will have an extension service that you can use, but atm I use Fafards for all my testing needs. More expensive though. About $35 per sample I believe. Tests Macros, Micros, pH, E.C.
Ive had symptoms that are similar to yours before, and I helped my plants pull out of it with increased Micros, Ca, and reduced pH. These recommendations were the result of fertilizer and media testing, so I really can't urge you enough to get it done.

I think every county has an extension taht will test you soil, I may just take em a sample, thanks for the advice dave

Hi Gnome. Had a look at the new pics - definitely not bad air in your grow. Looks like you've isolated it to the water ? I doubt very much its the hsv or tmv. People talk a lot about these viruses on here, but they are very rare - I've been growing 25 years and never seen it in my or my friends grows.

Had a water problem once which was due to a rotting magnesium anode in an old water heater. Too much mg in the water and caused lockout.

Let me know if water was your problem.....

If you get an analysis done , check out the chloramine level listed , high levels at intervals through the year is known to effect some sensitive plant species , cannot use my tapwater for african violets or several exotics.

Litlle effect on canna apart from some purer haze,s in hydro that yellowed and twisted in an alarming way and was taken for a virus at the time , fine in soil.

Its a longshot but plausible , easily fixed if it is.

Coco is cool, but I get better results with Hempy buckets. 80% perlite (no bugs), 20 % vermiculite.
Check out the Hempy bucket thread. Doesn't get any easier or foolproof.
