as far as nutritional content of the seed is concerned, all that matter is the nutrient profile of the soil the plant it was grown in. i.e. the dirt had a dense and diverse nutrient profile.as far as fiber is concerned we are looking for densely planted sativas. I've study this a lot. any strain will do.now if your looking for legal justification,or better put a wayto cya.them sensi seeds is the only bank I know of(that's established in our community)that got a "commercial" hemp cultivator.i say check out hfh gear do a seed run then plant a "feild'' like chucking vials of beans in rows.feel me???

Hemp seeds can sometimes be found in common bird seed, it's always in the stuff we get and I've seen little hemp plants sprouting in the vicinity of the bird feeder over the years. I've also seen it on sale in individual bags at some garden centres, as bird seed I assume

does anybody remember first generation deep chunk seeds?

the giant things you can eat while making hash out of the rest of the plant.

i think i remember a picture from overgrow of maybe a dozen seeds taking filling up a whole hand.

it got into my head that this was seed as food as oppose to eating the seeds that are 'seeds'

who knows, maybe smoked to much

looking at the sensi seeds site can only find rudaralis as oppose to hemp...

I find it hard to believe 12 seeds could take up a hand, but I want that Deep Chunk! how strong is the smoke?.

You'll probably have to go to the commercial hemp fields to take seeds.

Hemp seeds are the SAME thing as cannabis seeds...

The only difference is WE have been cross breeding the seeds for years to grow larger female flowers with more THC, as opposed to hemp being cross bred to produce a plant with larger and more stalks to produe more fiber to be used to make rope, paper, or thread to be woven into fabric...Hemp growers don't care one way or the other if THC is high or low..It is the exact same plant..

China as the best hemp seeds food wise and my guess is that India has the best ones for flax. If you search for organic chinese/indian hemp seeds you´ll find loads that you can eat/process/grow.
The biggest cannabis seeds i´ve ever seen were on a pack of hemp seeds bought from Hollands&Barret to use on my kitchen. Huge seeds with a soft shell that were filled with rich oils. Sadly at the time i was just a toker, not a grower ;)

Hemp is Cannabis Sativa.L or whatever it is. There's no Hemp indica.

Depends on the taxonomy you use. According to Hillig, the genus Cannabis consists of C. sativa and C. indica. The former comprises solely of hemp cultivars from Europ, Asia Minor and Central Asia, feral hemp from Eastern Europe, and eventually C. cf. ruderalis from Central Asia. The latter species comprises of hemp cultivars from Southern and Eastern Asia, feral populations from India and Nepal, narrow-leaflet drug (NLD) strains amongst others from the Indian subcontinent, and wide-leaflet drug (WLD) strains from Afghanistan and Pakistan.

That said, most hemp in developed countries is C. sativa and all C. sativa is hemp whereas C. indica can be either a drug or hemp cultivar.

See here: American Journal of Botany 91(6): 966–975. 2004.

I don't know from where you got this... Do you have a source for the Indian hemp thingie?
BTW, flax is a plant (Linum usitatissimum) also known as common flax or linseed and is used to produce the fibres called linen; cannabis has nothing to do with either.
Seems that Finola has a higher content in unsaturated fatty acids making it 'healthier' than any other seed variety (likely due to its cold climate cultivation) whereas Chinese hemp is known as the best fibre hemp because of its huge size and lack of branching. But it grows only in warmer climate and finishes too late in Europe or the Midwest and Northern States. That's why they crossed Chinese fibre hemp with the Kentucky varieties resulting in the best fibre hemp for semi-northern latitudes.

Chinese hemp seeds are commonly found in Asia markets. They may pose a problem for legal growers because of an often too high THC content caused by a lack of regulations and selective breeding. Also, Chinese hemp may contain germplasms of C. indica known for a higher prevalence in the THC chemotype (see literature above).

You may have a look at the HEMP SEED HUB for additional informations around hemp varieties and hemp seeds ;) .

We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!
He wants the precious. Always he is looking for it. And the precious is wanting to go back to him... But we mustn't let him have it.

Man those are some massive seeds, must have had some gigantic kushy calyxes for those suckers!.

Cheers for the info only ornamental.
