Help!

I'm halfway through my 3rd week of flowering on my Headband clone, and about the same time I started it under 12/12 it developed brown rusty spots on the lower leaves. In the 2nd week of flowering I've had to pull of quite a few sun leaves that have curled upwards and died. I contributed that to a hot day, so I added another fan and raised the light, but still they continue to die, so please help me so I can save my Headband.
Thanks.:joint:
Things you might need to know:

  • Foxfarms Ocean Forest Soil
    Flora Micro
    Discount Grow and Bloom
    400w HPS
    3 gallon pot
No way to test ph at the moment, I water with drinking water mixed w/nutes every 3-4 days as needed.
Here's a pic

Do you have any pics of leaves that are less dead? Kinda hard to tell with that pic.
Based on your nute regimen, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say overfert. There's no way that they need to be fed every 3-4 days.

post better pics of the plant itself if possible :) but to me it sounds like over-fert is causing nutrient lockout which in turn leads to certain deficiencies ..

1st week being

MANGANESE (Mn)
Necrotic and yellow spots form on top leaves. Mn deficiency occurs when large amounts of Mg are present in the soil. Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Mn.

or

POTASSIUM (K)
Affected plants are usually tallest and appear to be most vigorous. Necrotic spots form on lower leaves. Red stems. Leaves appear pale or yellow. Add chemical fertilizer containing K.

then it seems on week 2 the deficiency shifted to

MAGNESIUM (Mg)
Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins remain dark green. Blades die and curl upward. Feed with fertilizer containing MG

Point is there are a number of deficiencies that are being caused by the use of too much nutrient in a soil that is already rich in nutes.

my advice. stop using nutes, and flush with water, and re-pot into fresh soil.. if it survives, water with a plain ph'd water only.. if anything water once or twice with very light solutions of the bloom/micro, and weeks apart at that.. Fox Farms has enough nutes in it to sustain a plant for 45 days at least, well through veg, and into flower with needing little amendment.

Hope it helps
Good Luck

Damn, I assumed I was supposed to put nutes in the water everytime I fed it.

My mix isn't as strong as the suggested amount.

Oh and I'll get some more pics up soon, thanks so far.

Yep, you're burning them.

This^^ is a really strategy, although you may be able to get away with not re-potting. Do you know how to do a flush?
