help with strain selection

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. Decided to move here from another forum as everyone here seems much more knowledgeable and friendly.

I searched threads for smoke reports on malawi, golden tiger and panama, but i couldn't find to many. I will be ordering seeds very soon. The high description of malawi and golden tiger sound very similar, can anyone with expedience with them tell me more about them? which one you prefer, what the high is like ect. Also, i really only wanted two packs of seeds, so if the golden tiger/malawi highs are similar, should i chose panama for a little variety?

I have only grown Panama to fully mature, and have some GT and Malawi going under bloominglights, so not so much experience either

I guess you are looking for a strong sativa ... You can find plenty smoke reports of Golden Tiger, Panama and many others here in this room.

Are you growing indoors or outdoors ? What are the variables of your garden ? What kind of effect, potency, aromas ... are you looking for ? The more we know about your preferences and growing conditions the better we will be able to recommend you.

Yes Dubi, i am looking for a strong sativa. I like the racey/ psychedelic type highs and prefer a good potency, but obviously potency isn't everything. As far as aromas, it is not really a factor, i have nearly no sense of smell, so i can't tell what things smell like anyways haha.

Ok, if the strong potency and psychedelic sativa effect is a must then i would recommend you Malawi, Golden Tiger, Panama or Zamaldelica.

Consider also Bangi Haze if you have not much experience growing, it's easier and faster to grow than the previously commented. Hope it helps!

Not to be a bother, but i just wanted to ask one more thing dubi.
I remember reading one of your posts that had to do with my question but i can't remember where it was. I was wandering when to harvest for the effects im looking for, as far as how many clear,cloudy and amber tricomes? thanks you for any input

I can vouch for Zamaldelica.Seems to be a variety which grows with very low nutrients, branches well, takes quite many weeks, but results are rewarding.
I personally have two phenos and they are keepers I always have one or two of them coming to flower...

Hello stimp,

To know first how mature do you prefer your sativas I'd recommend you to fully mature them and on the way harvest a few buds at different stages of flowering. Different samples will provide you a good idea about your preferences.

If you harvest early with clear trichomes the effect will be racier with less body effect ... harvesting later with cloudier trichomes will provide a more dense, long lasting body experience.

ok thanks again dubi, this is what i thought, i normally harvest when trichomes are clear to give more racey effect, havnt yet grown anything from ace before though so i wasn't sure. thanks again
