I think 16mL/gallon of floranova is insane and if you have not had problems yet I would like to know what strain you have...

Various Bagseed, TRC's SWT13, currently Kandahar F2 Cherry Pheno, B-52, and Hindu Kush.

No problems so far, but who knows, maybe I've just gotten lucky :D

I'm growing in pro-mix and using tap water w/ 3 part GH, (I have no RO water). Will this cause problems? I ph my water to about 5.5-6.0. I have well water that is good and clean but a little high in ph.

Heya Pure.

Now it's interesting, I've never had a bit of problem with the formula I described until just about a week ago, when I started noticing just the slightest, tiniest amount of burn @ 8 ml/gal on just a couple of plants.

I'm wondering if it has to do with the Coco I'm using for the first time, or just the strain. Also, I didn't begin having a problem until I transplanted into larger pots. So, what I may be running into is just nutes collecting in the medium and going unused until the roots reach into that area, then there's too much.

Like I said though, first time with a problem, and only a coupla plants.

Hey Hydrorascal, i noticed you mentioned that the Lucas formula is based on RO water...what happens if you dont use RO water but the water coming out of the tap is only about 20ppm??

Pureknowledge, i notice on those charts regarding the nutrients and their availability at certain PH's on the hydro side does this mean that your plants can never uptake both Ca and Mg unless the PH is right at 5.8???

Thanks pureknowledge, if I knew how to do so I'd give you positive karma. I laid off the GH nutes and went out and bought some Pure Blend. I understand that PB has less Ca/Mg.

BTW, I've run Pure Blend b-4 with success. That's why I switched, from GH. I was worried about the added Ca/Mg from the GH, which the PB doesn't have. I need a water test! Where do I do such a thing?
