Help with Indoor Grow Plz

Hello everyone and thank you for attending my thread.

I started growing a sprout for about 15 days now im not 100% sure if im doing this right. Unfortunatly i dont have a camera but i will describe the senario.

The plant has started the 3rd layer and the second layer leaves are not fully finished yet. What i mean by this is that theres sections of the leaves on the second layer that look somewhat mutated, or shrunk or cut off lets but not with a clean cut. Wrinkly on the edges would also help in the description. The leaves not even close to being symetrical.

I am growing this with sunlight on my window sill which starts from 7 am to 5 pm lets say. And is then placed in my closet with a 60 watt lamp. I was told i needed to get cfls which i plan on doing but have not found time to get yet.
My plan was to take this plant outside when it warm enough to this is only temporary. Id say its gona be inside for at least another 30 days.

Please post some suggestions and your thoughts on the problem
Im thinking the light in the closet might not be good enough. I will try to find a camera as soon as possible.

Light in the closet is worthless, go to homedepot and get a cfl. Is the plant outside your window or inside on the sill? You may see some stretching depending.

Hydro, sup bro... what kind of mix is your seedling in? Just normal potting mix from the store? Also, dont worry so much bout the mutations...that happens quite often to seedlings....they usually grow out of it. And you say you'll be putting her outside eventually? Sounds good ...but what if it's a male.. you should start like 3 more at least to make sure u get 1 good female..if all goes smooth and she lives..you can pull hella nice smoke, them outdoor plants get fucking insane sometimes. -Opt

Thanks for the suggestions guys i will look into buying this asap. But i also live in a hosue with a mother who doesn't know im growing lol. The plant is on the inside part of the window sill. I know the outside gets more light but if its too cold which it is right now i dont put it outside.

Its acualy funny how you mentiond that opt beacuse i just started germinating 3 more seeds 2day lol. I did this beacuse of that reason and to see what other sprouts would be like. Im very excited about htese next seeds for a couple reasons. These are my cross seeds from last year of Durban Poison x KC33 and they have grown a clear layer of skin to protect the root inside the seed, since last year.

KC 33 are big plants even if you plant them outside During the end of May i had a 5 footer last year. Imagine how big it might grow if its grown for a month first lol.

Oh ya a couple of qestions as well.

Is it ok to have bugs inside your soil?

So far i have seen 2 ants and a small worm/larva of some type. I have checked the soil several times and had it for about 30 days in a container. And until 20 days go the soil was frozen which i then put my germinated seed in as soon as the soil was warm enough. (room temp)

Is it better to germinate seeds in the dark or the light?

bugs r bad well some are good but thats when controlled, in your case its not ok.

Im not trying to be a harp, but does your mom care if you do this? You need to realize that if you were to get caught she would be in a world of grief. It might be better to wait for the weather to warm and put some seeds in the ground....

Well scorpio i honestly dont think she will find out listen to my plan.

Inside my closet is a fairly large box as well as the lamp which i mentioned before neatly organized with a few other things making it less bait. The lamp isn't in the box but its not bait if its standing there as long as no light is visible which is how it currently is. If i can get cfl's its even less bait because the light will be even closer then the lamp so it will take up less space. thats how i think i can pull it off. And since i just started germinating a next set of seeds i dont think those will be bait because by the time those are big it will be may 10th ish. But i thank you for your recomendations. If anyone else wants to say whether i shoudln't do this please do so. I will re consider if the odds are like 20/1. maybe im just really ignorant and stupid lol.


The plant i have isn't very big so by the begining of may if its warm enoug which is 24 day ill put

dude its not cool to grow in anyones house if there not ok with it.icould list a 1/2 doz scenarios that would have your moms ass up a creek w/o a paddle.you need to respect that and consider a friends house or something else to germ them seeds and get them ready to go outside.i'd realy like to see you grow and not have to go to the streets for your weed.i just belive this is bad kharma.hope you do the right thing,for your own sake.

IMHO, if all your doing is germinating the seeds to get them a head start for outdoors...there shouldnt be a problem growing in your house for a few weeks. You gotta remember people, he is only starting seeds..and at most it'll only be around for a few weeks...before anyone even has a clue. Now, if you were going from start to finish indoors in your parents house ..thats a different scenerio. Just having a plant pop out of soil and grow for a week or 2 is not a big deal in my humble opinion. -Opt

im not even worried about cops to be hoenst with you. Where i live there isn't any jail time for a plant. I have delt with cops on pot occassions numerous times and im 18 too so the heat goes directly to me.

Germinating also ins't a bait procedure ive done it several times even with 80 seeds whlie it was sitting on my dressor. I will take ur reply into consideration

i could never ever be worried bout getting busted if i only had a few seedlings. If for some type of once in a blue moon shit happens and a fifty came to my door...you could eat them things faster then you could say... "what do you mean i have green stuff in my teeth". -Opt
