How Tall are the plants? 40"
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? 14 days into 12/12
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) supercropped early
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) 23 litre 1 per pot
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) Plagron Batmix
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each with how much water? How Often? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* Biocanna fed only once with bio flores @2ml/litre
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? unknown
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? unknown
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? ph pen
How often are you watering? evry 4-5 days
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? 2 days ago 1st feed
What size bulb are you using? 600w hps
What is the distance to the canopy? 12" cooltube used
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) 30-60%
What is the canopy temperature? max 29-30
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) 28-17
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) 6" ruck
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? no
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? no always allowed to dry before watering
Is your water HARD or SOFT? hard
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? tap water stood 12 hours
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? not recently
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? epsom salts 1 week ago
Are plant's infected with pest's? no

Must also mention I have 1 Casey Jones clone in the same room, same everything and no sign of this problem. Last time I grew her she was underfed showing signs og K def. Not so this grow, which makes me think the soil is too potent for Diesel?

I'm undecided as to whether to feed again or return to just water, so any help much appreciated

Old growth only? How extensive?

You mentioned that the problem was recurring. Did the timing of worsening/getting better match any interventions, such as uppotting?

pHing your runoff would really help too.

Yes mate, old growth only. And not that wide spread.

The first occasion was just before the first repot. This second occassion is 3 weeks into final pots. Could they be hungry?

They're not due a water/feed for a few days yet but I can get a runnoff figure then.

I'm also wondering if this could have been caused by allowing the roots to sit in standing water/runoff?

looks liek a mag def or more likly cal def. and a bit of heat stress.
could be heat burn that looks like cal def.
show whole plant pics that single blade pic is useless.

Like digital happy said, need more pics of the problem and the plant itself, where did this leaf come from? It could be heat stress, calcium issue or pH issues.....

I can get pics of the whole plant when the lights go on, but they are basically very healthy looking apart from these patches on some of the older fan leaves.
Problem has not effected any new growth.

Why have you only fed it once it's whole life? It's important to see the entire plant so we know where at on the plant and how the plant looks so we can help see what is wrong with it.....

I do understand your wishes Stitch, and of course appreciate your willingness to help. I'm not trying to wind you up, that's for sure!

The reason it's not been fed is because of the soil used, Plagron batmix, which has more than enough nutes for 4-6 weeks. All six clones have been thriving in it, and until this problem looked the picture of happiness.
I've had problems in the past, which I've always been able to fix with the help of your wonderful guide, but this one is baffling me which is why I made the call for help.

I shall be making sure I get up in time to get a few shots before the lights go out, so I hope the pictures will reveal all.

Thanks again for your help, and patience :joint:

Ahh I see, ya that is why I asked why you only fed it once casue I was confused as to why you only did that once.....

Now I see! Yes with the size of the plant you have that is a good thing you did not feed with the mixture it is in.

Well, now they do need food so get some food into them gals weekly; but make sure you get something not so strong...... feed lightly for the first dosage and unless you buy cannabis specific nutes, do not listen to the feeding directions on the back....

thanks Stitch, so yes I use bio canna and have only fed once with 1/2 strenght flores(2ml/litre). This feed was a week or so ago, and basically given earlier than planned to see if it helped with the current problem.

So now some pics

Not quite full plant, but I hope you see what you're looking for!

How close is your lighting; you most defiantly have some heat stress going on bro..... move the lights up some.
Sorry about the delay in posting; holiday weekend and week have gotten to me :)

+ my son is on spring break and have been spending more time with him and we been playing smash brothers brawl

Thanks Stitch, I have moved the light back to it's maximum now. Had to replace the ezi roll hangers with cable ties, but it's regained a good 6". Also repositioned a fan so it's now suspended from a bungy blowing direct on the canopy..

Since feeding, apart from those horrible rust patches they're looking pretty good.

Thanks again, and no need to apologize. I rekon you deserve a medal for your contributions!

Out of the slime, finally.

For sure a calcium and magnesium problem on them last pics. Before adding a cal/mag product I would rule out lockout from a bad pH. Get a runoff reading mandatory. Make sure it is between 6.4 and 6.8 for optimum. If it is in range then get a cal/mag supplement. Your soil is probably depleting and you need to bottle feed now.

I have had this problem with tapwater check your tapwater after you have let the water sit as usual. Chek the waters ph and dissolved solids.

The water is so full of limestone here it automatically causes lockout after several waterings.
It took me a while of screwing around to pin it down.

Thanks guys

Now, I must work out what's the cause?

This first showed before I'd begun feeding, so the tap water theory might be good. The other thing I'm thinking about now is how I've read that excessive K can cause problems with Ca uptake. Seeing as I'm using this Plagron Bat mix which is paked with guano could that be playing into the hand?

They seemed to pick up when fed then deterioate after a plain watering again, but I'm worried that by feeding Bio Flores the additional K may only compound the problem. I have an old bottle of BioBizz Alg-A-Mic, so maybe I'll give that a try?

Thanks again, and I hope alls well Stitch?

Just watered one of them through with rain water ph 7.4, runoff collected ph 6.78 ec 2.8

So, would that suggest it's not a lock out?
