hey,

how's it going fella's,

got a clone of some northern lights from a buddy of mine.. it has bugs. on the under side of the leaves. i dont know what kind they are off hand but they leave little yellow specks on the top side of the leaves. there tiny little black things and lots of white tiny eggs. now how do i get red of them..

the clone has been in veg for about 2 weeks since forming roots. she's only 7-8 inches tall with about 6 or 7 fan leaves.. 3 of the leaves are half dead do to the bugs im assuming..

i read in high times that i should use proxide and water.. is thgis right or shoud i use something else becasue the plant is so young.. thanks..

Personally if i had a clone like that i would throw it away and not let it near any of my other plants. You can try dipping it in neem or spray the hell out of it with bug spray. Sounds like it is spider mites. Any pics?

Get a No Pest Strip at Home Depot, Lowe's or garden centers. Simply place it in with your grow and they will be dead shortly. Leave it in the grow so when the eggs hatch they succumb as well. It's the only way to go.

If it was my plant, I would dip the whole thing in organicide (mixed with a penetrator) and then spray with neem (mixed with a penetrator) once every 10 days. If everything is not dead after the first organicide dip, you can do a second a week later. By the way, when using a penetrator with organicide, wait a week after to use neem.

I've had good results with the no-pest strips in the past. I think a key to their effectiveness is to make sure any ventilation fans are turned off for at least a couple of hours every night to allow the vapor to build up (assuming you're using a cabinet with some kind of fan). At that age though I'd just blast it with insecticide since by the time you get any buds from it, any residue should be long gone.

there is a product called smc its a little black bottle with red writing you put 1 tsp. to 32 oz.of warm water in a spray bottle ive used it and it works real good about 1 week later spray again and you should be good hope this helps by the way you can spray your cuttings you get from anybody else in the future before you introduce them to the rest of your garden peace-Y-
